Normally DID ANYONE USE THE NEW CRYPT/LIBRARY CARDS? Yes- Sergio used Master of Time and Master of Force on his Nephanduses MOST PROMINENT VAMPIRE MINIONS (and why): 1. Pentweret (Brandon)- ousting bleed vs Nephandus Deck, game winner. 2. Antonio d'Erlette (Sergio) pooping out Nephanduses. 3. Durga Syn- Used her special to defend against Nephanduses unil she was overrun. 4. Nakthorheb- Stole the sign when it was close to completion, stole at least one Nephandus, entice for the oust vs Eric, Rescue Gerald. MOST PROMINENT MAGE MINIONS (and why): 1. Nephandus (Sergio). Defended against Eric's Lasombra bleeders, were stolen by the Followers of Set. Comments/game write-up: Andy (!Trem BH)>Sergio (Nephandus)> Ian (Matahari & Dyrga)> Me (Followers of Set)> Eric (kiasyd) Andy brings out a Lecora and Gerald FitzGerald and burns Sergio's Path of Evil Revelations early. Sergio pops Ashur Tablets and puts Haven Uncovered into his hand. He uses Parthenon to drop Haven on Gerald and then rushes him x2, putting him into torpor. Eric pounds Andy with two, six and three. Andy is low on pool and is about ready to go into full flail mode. He is talked out of it with “the game is early.” It turns out that for Kiasyd there is no “early” game, there is only bleed for six. Ian is engaging in a tricky game of “don’t look at me, I only have The Red Sign with two counters and minions that block well, are ublockable and multi act.” What this means is that the storyline equipment would give the ravnos additional counters, leading to a win. Nakthorheb sees this coming and plays two stealth cards to get past the Ravnos. I take the Red Sign, “no one shall have this meddlesome sign!” and defend it with Shemti. Nakthorheb rescues Gerald and Entrances an untapped Nephendus to do little bleeds vs the Kiasid (my pool was great with a Villein for 10 + giant’s blood play). Andy plays a coven and manages to hang on another turn. The next turn the fails to defend his low pool vs 3 kiasyd and is ousted. Soon after this Dyrga, after putting up a good fight vs little minions that don’t cause her to tap, runs out of blood and may even go to torpor. Ian pays for a third minion and Sergio lands several bleeds, getting him a vp. I have been pinging away and the Kiasy, baiting out bounce. On a bounce that landed on Sergio I had Nakthorheb play a spying mission (“not yet, their time will come”). Sergio pays a quintessence to use his Master of time to tap Nakthorheb. Mighty Nakthorheb awakens and Entices for a vp. I move blood back from my uncontrolled region (saving it from Public Trust) and discard some junk. Sergio’s empty Keith Moody tries to hunt, but is punked by one of my two stolen Nephanduses. Sergio has famed and haven uncovered Shemti. He defends well with Eyes of the Serpent to Strike: combat ends, but goes down to one of the other nephanduses. My Nephandus blocks Antonio while he tries to do something terrible and knocks blood off of him. On my turn Sergio is at two pool. I Golconda Shemti and bleed the nephanduses with eyes of the serpent + true love’s face for the win! Here is an idea for Pentweret Advanced: Pentweret 9 aus for OBE OBF PRE SER Follower of Set:5 Merged: +2 bleed There isn't a single minion who is not Salubri with Obeah at superior. My pet peeves are Giant's Blood, Pentex Subversion (i'd allow the chosen minion to act and block at severe penalty - something that each attempt to act or block would deal him 3 unpreventable damage), consangiuns boon and finally Voter Captivation (and golconda/soul gem of etrius to lesser degreem, as both allow pulling insane pool advantage).
