just to check if i am right, but when a minion plays in combat Dam the heart's river, followed by a Dagon's call (providing opposing minion did not dodge or combat end), opposing minion would take 2 unpreventable damage during the press step, right? Dam the Heart's River Combat Quietus Frenzy. Only usable before range is determined. A vampire can play only one Dam the Heart's River each combat. [qui] This combat, each strike or damaging effect made against the opposing minion inflicts +1 damage. [QUI] As above, and this combat, strikes cost the opposing minion 1 additional blood or life, and the opposing minion can choose not to strike. Dagon`s Call, Combat, 1 blood, Quietus qui] Strike: make a hand strike (at strength damage) and the opposing minion takes 1 unpreventable damage during the press step each round this combat. A vampire may play only one Dagon`s Call each combat. [QUI] As above, and this hand strike does strength+1 damage.

Yes, it would.

Does that mean if a vamp with QUI TEM played DtHR and OtH he would do 3 pre range? Throw in Dagons and you could do 5 excluding strikes? yikes.... Edit: Even better, dam + outside + catatonic for 4 dmg and sce as well

Another nice combo is just dam + catatonic + target vitals, 5 damage for a combat ends. Only 2 disciplines needed so actually quite some vamps can play it. Another question on Dam the Heart's River, as it says 'each strike' does that also add +1 damage to dodges? Wind Dance comes to mind...

So, your math is correct 2 (OtH) + 1 (DtHB) + 1 (CF) = 4 damage - but not 4+1(DtHB). EDIT Ankha 2020-08-04: This ruling has a REVERSAL, see: www.vekn.net/forum/rules-questions/72635-dam-the-heart-s-river-and-catatonic-fear?start=0#72638

Thanks for pointing that ruling out, it makes sense.
