I'd say no, because Drawing out the Beast wouldn't neither. Baron of Frankfurt

No. "During strike resolution" means during normal strike resolution, like for Wolf Companion. Drawing out the Beast isn't relevant as its damage is during the press step.

Can she burn for example a .44 Magnum on the opposing minion after that minion has already maneuvred with it, thereby causing their strike to do no damage? -thank you for your input.

I just want to be sure about Gianna di Canneto rule. 1) she cannot lock to inflict damage if oposing minion play strike: CE 2) she cannot lock if any of minions in combat strike with first strike and burn, sent torpor,or sent to incapacited region oposing minion 3) she must use his abiliti after both minions declare strike (but not in case about point 1 and 2) but before prevent step. if all 3 point above correct?

Ankha will need to confirm this one. **Update ** was wrong as I based it on old card text. 3) Correct, the ability "...lock during strike resolution to inflict 1..." can only be done after the declaration of strikes as the window of the ability is during strike resolution which comes after. Note the ability to "..lock and burn herself to..." can be used before declaring strikes and resolves immediately. > Rulebook: > > Combat Ends: This effect ends combat immediately. This type of strike is always the first to resolve, even before a strike done with first strike (see First Strike), and it ends combat before other strikes or other strike resolution effects are >

Thanks for pointing it out...just assumed the text from the original post was still relevant which was wrong on my part....should have checked as it was an old post....then 2) is Correct as pointed out by drnlmza, the opportunity to lock to inflict damage would be lost in the given scenario.
