Current status of VTES Tools with regards to The Unaligned Official Cardlist: Open Anarch Revolt Deck Builder (ARDB): unknown (requires official cardlist?) Fragment of Elder Library Database (FELDB): updated with TU Secret Library (SL): Open (requires official cardlist) LackeyCCG: updated with TU Anyone has a status on the above utilities or knows about other tools already updated to TU?

Ke.

I think ARDB updates from here: www.vekn.net/images/stories/downloads/vtescsv.zip Which doesn't appear to have been updated yet. The Danse Macab Images went up fairly quick last time round: code.google.com/p/ardb/downloads/list by Woodruffr1973? Ke Amaranth Deck Building Tool : VTES NZ : VTES ANZ Facebook

OCTGN has not been updated yet. Will it be?

how can I edit the csv file to correct errors? (for example, Omer is listed as having instead of ) I tried editing the vtescrypt.csv file with excel, then notepad, but when I update ARDB it keeps giving me an error.

Pascal Bertrand

csv files are uploaded. vekn.net/images/stories/downloads/vtescsv.zip (the date on the card lists page isn't correct, as Ginés is still locking that page :P) Also, the cardlist.txt now includes The Unaligned cards.

I use ARDB 3.1.1 Beta 2 on Windows 8. I'll check if latest ARDB version works on Windows 8. EDIT: Yeah, ARDB 3.2 refuses to update database as well. And, ARDB 3.2 can't be used at all on Windows (8) because you can't open your decks that you have created. ---- Banging trashcans, breaking windows We'll wake you up tonight We like the good time, we scream and shout And that's what fun's about

I'm thinking... ...is there a well formatted XML file available for deck and crypt? JSON formatted file would work fine as well. ---- Banging trashcans, breaking windows We'll wake you up tonight We like the good time, we scream and shout And that's what fun's about

done! nice work, thanks!

after some proofreading... Assamites Wise Frog - should not have Followers of Set Legba - should have instead of Glycon - should have instead of Ravnos Delizbieta of the Dark Eyes - should have instead of Ivan Krenyenko [Adv] - should have instead of and instead of Gangrel Mark Decker - should have instead of General all accented letters now generate random chars (Rosa Hernandez has become Rosa Hernández)

I already have a csv parser (to generate the cardlist.txt file). Let me know what kind of fields you want in a a.xml

I updated the cardlist.txt and the csv files with latest comments.

Pascal, can you generate JSON? (it was faster to figure out json format first) Attachment vtes_crypt_json.txt not found ---- Banging trashcans, breaking windows We'll wake you up tonight We like the good time, we scream and shout And that's what fun's about

Set <=> Artist isn't something we have. Can you include an example of an imbued card? does it have to be 0 for inf and 1 for sup, or could it be 1 for inf and 2 for sup? (and 0 for "doesn't have") should the same file contain both crypt and library cards?

I think Vincent just uploaded something messy ...

Ok, The csv files have been corrected. There are now two versions: www.vekn.net/images/stories/downloads/vtescsv.zip contains the csv in the ANSI encoding, so that ARDB will work. ARDB should be updated though, since ANSI can't encode some characters (such as 'č' as in Zahradníček). I don't know who's maintaining ARDB, but this has to be changed! www.vekn.net/images/stories/downloads/vtescsv_utf8.zip contains the CSV files in UTF-8 encoding. Gramle's "loader" sucks the CSV files into a mongodb database. Jussi if you want a "dump" of this to JSON, I could give it to you (although it doesn't exactly follow your format; I'll explain on IRC). The long-term plan for Gramle, once upon a time, was to expose a public JSON/Mongo API for querying searches rather than just my little-used IRC bot. I don't know if that's ever going to happen in reality, though. (And there are still some types of queries that have always been buggy and I never got around to fixing)

Ankha

Ok, this should be the last technical update. The "old standard" csv files archive is here: www.vekn.net/images/stories/downloads/vtescsv.zip PLEASE DO NOT USE IT ANYMORE! It's only here for backward compatibility purpose (eg. so that ARDB can still work) but you should use instead: www.vekn.net/images/stories/downloads/vtescsv_utf8.zip This archive contains the csv files encoded in UTF-8 (without BOM) with UNIX-style EOL, double quotes (") as delimiters and comma (,) as separator. I had passed this note to Pascal over email but it looks like it didn't make it to you before the "last technical update" version at 8:38: Imanna is still missing her "1 vote" title from the title column (just after the rarity column). I've also been compiling some "templating" questions, most of which I've already gotten answers to. The latest is: In older expansions, the text of Advanced vampires would start with the word "Advanced, " followed by the text. In The Unaligned, this leading word "Advanced, " is missing. Is that deliberate? It does affect the way my IRC bot displays information about Advanced vampires. If the word is officially absent (as it seems to be in the PDF versions of the vamps) then I will have to update my bot to display the word in another way. Thanks!

I'm not sure if I want to use BSON, but you can post me the dump anyway so I can inspect it. I'll PM my email. I'm not currently using IRC, but if my hobby project is ever going to happen I'm sure that I'll begin to hang around there. > jozxyqk wrote: > The long-term plan for Gramle, once upon a time, was to expose a public JSON/Mongo API for querying searches rather than just my little-used IRC bot. > I don't know if that's ever going to happen in reality, though. > (And there are still some types of queries that have always been buggy and I never got around to fixing) > This sounds interesting. Since I have a plan to write a little deck design application using Qt5, I would be interested in having a good place to download latest card texts for local data storage. Is there a zipped version of this file that can be easily imported (along with previous expansions) into ARDB?
