Another quickie: Does a Red List minion have to be specifically "burned" in a action? Or can a minion, say, do 1 damage to a red listed ally w 1 life as a action [hence causing it to burn] and then claim a trophy? eg: Employ Neighborhood Watch Commander. Play Red List on it. Another minion you control plays Cryptic Mission targeting NWC. NWC takes 1 damage & burns. Minion gains 50 trophies already in play... "When any vampire burns a Red List minion in combat or as a action (including diablerie), the controller of the trophy may choose to move the trophy to that vampire" Thanks "East is east & West is west..."

Yes you could burn a Red List Ally (e.g. Ossian) with something like a Cryptic Mission (since it is a action) and claim trophies. Retired Baron of Sydney, Australia, 418

What matters is that the minion was burned as part of the resolution of the action. Playing sup Horsehoe on Red List Julius would trigger Trophy activation. Playing Cryptic Mission on Ossian with 1 life would trigger Trophy activation. On the other side, of course, burning Ossian with Crocodile's Tongue / Psychomachia won't. > technobabble66 wrote: > eg: Employ Neighborhood Watch Commander. Play Red List on it. You can also substitute informant for Caiaphas Smith to not be forced to play osebo.

Also, you only need one Ishtarri in play to do the recruiting, the rest of the deck could be titled minions from any clan. Also, Caiaphas Smith is unique, so you can't dump a bunch of him in play and go get your Red List on later....

You play one CS, it turns and when you need it to burn, off you go! Usually, he doesn't die until you manage to make it red list and burn him. If he does, just drop another one. CS has no requirement so he's a better option IMHO. Prince of Paris, France Ratings Coordinator, Rules Director
