A vampire with superior OBEAH targets an untapped Warghoul from his prey with a Superior Spirit Marionette and the action succeeds. Can the methuselah use the War Ghoul's ability of tapping and burning a location from his prey before he is obligated to bleed with said War Ghoul? I think that the answer is yes, since the War Ghoul's ability is not an action, so no other action is beeing taken before the mandatory bleed action, but I'd like confirmation please. Thanks a bunch Spirit Marionette Type: Action Requires: Obeah/Dominate [dom] Bleed at +1 bleed. [obe] Bleed at +1 bleed and tap a ready minion controlled by your prey (even if the target of the bleed is changed). [OBE] +1 stealth action. Take control of a ready untapped minion until the end of the next action. That minion must bleed your prey unless he or she must hunt. War Ghoul Type: Ally Requires: Tzimisce Cost: 3 pool Ghoul with 5 life. 4 strength, 0 bleed. When War Ghoul enters play, burn an ally or retainer you control. She can enter combat with any ready vampire controlled by another Methuselah as a action. She may prevent 1 damage each round. Tap and burn War Ghoul to burn any location; you cannot use this ability during combat.

Yes you can. There is a pause for effects before actions.

Mandatory actions must be taken before other actions. The Warghoul effect would use the same sort of time window as a Heidelberg Castle so you could easily do that. Retired Baron of Sydney, Australia, 418

mighht be a stupid question, but, can you burn the war ghoul (assuming you manage to untap it during the action) after the bleed is successful but before the end of the action? IC Organized play coordinator Please contact me with any OP query using the mail in my profile

This includes the Enkil Cog / Voter Capt / Freak Drive window.

A smart war ghoul player would probably burn the spirit marionette decks heidleberg before the marionette suceeds.......

Still appropriate overtones for most of the internet, though. I wouldve thought you used english fluently in casual conversations if just going off of that reply. And ive seen tournament games where somebody loses a location trying to steal warghouls. Everyone thinks "a rusher! I want that!" Without remembering it blows stuff up by tapping. Now, spirit marionette decks typically dont follow said logic, but ots still funny to see warghouls explode after entrancement is played.
