How do you intend to oust? Stealthy bleeds. How do you intend to keep from being ousted? Steady pool gain with the occasional +6. What do you want your ready region to look like (ie, how many guys are you planning on getting out)? Doctor Streck, Father Juan Carlos or Axel von Anders, and a weenie. What do you want your average turn to look like? Bleed for 3 with Doctor Streck, tap blockers with Faceless Night and/or use Cloak the Gathering on the other bleeders. What's your metagame like? How do your opponents play? Various, but very few fast decks. What problems have you observed with the deck in play? Not many stealth cards in the deck but it flowed well. Considering increasing the deck size by adding a couple more stealth cards. Veil the Legions and Faceless Night don't have great synergy: one requires you to leave the OBF guy untapped, the other requires you to tap him first. You should absolutely consider some sort of combat. Either a handful of majesties, or something you can actually fight with. You have 12 stealth cards for 18 actions, and most of your stealth cards are +1 only, thats not really an amound you can expect to be enough (considering that you pack 0 threat if you got blocked). No idea what is your meta like, but that amount shoul be ok against only minimal intercept, occasional media locations, inherent +1 IC vampires. An ally deck with a single unmasking in play would cause problems after a few turns and that is far from a blocker, or a wall deck. With no reaction package, and no rush, your predator has to be really really slow (and pretty inept) not to pounce on you. The deck has no defence against vote, or bleed, or combat. You should add a few info highways and grooming the protege to be as fast as possible. The speed is your only advantage you can ride with (especially that you mentioned that you usually dont face fast decks). I'd definitely add a hunting ground. Maybe i'd consider a Creepshow Casino. My choice would be using majesties here, around 8-10, depending on how much combat you expect in your meta.

Main problem I see with this deck is that your bleeding is very irresponsible, if you happen to sit behind the dude with 12+ bounce, you will only help him sweep. Also I think you would be better off going the anarch angle so you could use undue influences and power of ones for stealth (as well as anarch railroad of course) then you could just go with smaller guys with presence which would make your crypt much better.

Ooh, another focused !Brujah deck from Dorrinal! I'm reminded of your "All Enchant Kindred, all the time" bruise/bleed deck that did so well. I remember others giving comments here that it couldn't work, but I was there when it did well. Maybe because we all play such "bad" decks in America? I think this deck would do quite well in practice, at least in my local meta. It is too focused to do well every time. I see bleed protection in the form of gaining 2 pool with every bleed plus Gang Territory. My first reaction is that you don't have enough stealth cards. However, I never play decks this slim, so I don't have a feel for it. It may be you have the correct proportions. It seems like getting Waste Management out early would help a lot. My instinct is that 2 Lost in Crowds is not enough. I wanted to say that you have too many Aires of Elation, but then I rememebered that Spoils of War also gives a blood. I still think -1 Aire, +1 Spying Mission or Lost in Crowds. Did you consider using any Love's True Faces? I've never experienced Doctor Streck's special in play; I imagine it provides some counter against the deck packing 12 bounces. There are three 5-caps in g5 with PRE/OBF who aren't !Brujah. Maybe use one? Maybe pack a couple more combat avoidance cards, especially for your weenies? Maybe Thrown Gate x1/2, Resist Earth's Grasp x1?

No actually Doctor Streck's special screws you against the deck packing 12 bounce, because if they have bounce in hand, they will bounce him, if they don't, you might help them cycle into one.

Has anyone ever played in a game in which Doctor Streck's ability was relevant? Can they give a report? And who packs 12 bounces?

Dorrinal

No one packs 12 bounces. Typical Klaital argument. He makes a good point though. Since the doctor's special doesn't trigger unless the bleed lands, the bounce would be spent sending him to annoy your prey. On the other hand, I don't give a fuck who gets bled as long as I gain 2 pool.

I cut some spoils for more stealth, and switched some of the actions around to make the deck slightly more flexible. I also brought in Renenet and Herbert Westin to round out the crypt with more superior obfuscate. Comments and advice welcome! I would switch Jayne and Smash to Robin Withers and Sisocharis, then you would have at least obf/pre on pretty much all your guys, and also probably switch some of the aires to true love's face. Other than that looks pretty good. Oh also adding wider view might be good so you don't get your uncontrolled flooded with extra copies of Axel and Streck.

Dorrinal

I'd like to keep more Brujah in the deck to play spoils of war. Wider view is a very good idea though.

Dorrinal

Hugh is a jerk. On that note: why don't people play 12 bounce more often?

Dorrinal

I think if I were preparing to play this or even kindred spirits in that kind of metagame, I would simply add more spying mission and hope my prey's bounce has clumped at the bottom of the deck.

!Brujah stealth bleed without Miguel Santo Domingo? i love that vampire. because he reminds me of a certain Nagaraja. I just realized what a weird vampire special ability Doctor Streck has. if only he had he could make an interesting bruise-bleeder. ah well, maybe once in a while it'll ruin someone's perfect hand. i think public trust is stronger than legal manipulations. and i agree with Poci's suggestion on info highway or grooming the protege. if you get a strong start, you'll want to convert it into even more aggression. .... if you get a bad start, you'll want more aggression anyway! so get those vampires out fast

Dorrinal

I'd love to use Miguel but 7 is a lot of pool to spend on someone without obfuscate. Public Trust is a must-include for speed and I have swapped out about half of my Legal Manipulations for them. Will consider adding Information Highway but I'm already using Dreams of the Sphinx for speed so I might be okay in the master card department.
