Unfortunately that means the winning deck won't be approved to TWDA

The TWDA was apparently updated for the last time on October 26, so this is a moot point.
I don't think VEKN has a rule in place limiting the posting of TWDs to only sanctioned tournaments.

Indeed, TWD can always be posted in this section, whatever the tournament type or attendance.
Still, as Lönkka wrote, they won't appear in the TWDA.
