Deck Name : Doomed Henry Author : Ankha Description : Henry Taylor + Condemnation: Doomed infinite combo The goal is too cycle the whole deck quickly (it should be done by turn 7, thanks to Giotto), put a Condemnation: Doomed on a empty vampire controlled by your prey, block his hunts and untap both Henry and the target using Bond with the Mountain until the prey is ousted. Crypt [12 vampires] Capacity min: 6 max: 7 average: 6.5 6x Giotto Verducci (7) Baali (group 2) 6x Henry Taylor (6) Brujah antitribu (group 3) Library [60 cards] Action [5] 1x Abbot 4x Condemnation: Doomed One per prey Action Modifier [2] 1x Forgotten Labyrinth To make the C:Doomed pass 1x Horrific Countenance For Henry for the Eye or anything else Combat [4] 2x Bond with the Mountain Untaps both combattants at 2x Earth Meld Early defense Equipment [2] 1x Eye of Hazimel So the Bond with the Mountain costs nothing 1x Sport Bike To block the prey's hunt Master [44] 1x Archon Investigation Defense 1x Dark Influences Against Psyche! or IG 1x Dreams of the Sphinx 1x Giant's Blood 1x Life in the City 1x Pentex(TM) Subversion Can disable the grand-prey's blocking vampire 2x Protean For Earth Meld superior 27x Slaughterhouse, The Twister card 1x Spontaneous Power So Henry get 1x Sudden Reversal Against a Hunting Ground or any blood-giving master 1x Sunset Strip, Hollywood So your prey's hunt won't be blocked by your grand-prey 1x Vampiric Disease To lower the target vampire's blood 3x Villein To survive a little until the combo works 2x Waste Management Operation To recycle cards that were discarded earlier. Reaction [3] 1x Delaying Tactics 1x Forced Awakening 1x On the Qui Vive I played it yesterday, unfortunately my prey played Rack + Faerie Ward wall, so I couldn't play a Condemnation: Doomed on his vampires (I tried 3 times). I got killed in the end by a Pentex on Henry, but until then I hadn't been bled once. I need to improve the blood attrition, the Vampiric Disease is not enough and maybe play a Rampage instead of a Sudden. Dreams is quite useless in the deck (not enough master phase actions, no need to draw). Maybe a PB: Montreal instead for pool gain. A Parthenon could help too, because the master setup is quite slow. How about adding Sargon Fragment and Cavalier for some extra card recycling? And Gang Territory? ---- Banging trashcans, breaking windows We'll wake you up tonight We like the good time, we scream and shout And that's what fun's about

EDIT: forgot about the first effect of C: Doomed. Suggested adds: Mr Winthrop: +1 Intercept is not enough against a stealthy prey. Hunger Moon: if you fail blocking, you get another chance next turn, and it's a good attrition card anyway. Unleash Hell's Fury: because you can. Young Bloods: more attrition. Impundulu: same, but slower. One of the only unconditional ways to remove the last blood. Or a completely different approach: add Doris McMillon/Hide the Heart instead of Slaughterhouses. It might even cycle faster if you play them cross table and it trumps Perfectionist. I don't see how the version you played can take more than 1 sneaky vp: once the table knows your deck, you prey's sick vampires will never tap when they hit 1 blood, and there is nothing you can do about that. The best you can hope for is stalling your prey and finish with bleeds for 1, or maybe prey that they hit 2 blood and you can reduce them to 0 with an Eye of Hazimel rush. You need some tapping tech to play Vampiric disease. And IR goggles to protect Henry from infection.

I like it. It is original, and interesting. However, i do agree that blood burning part is weak, as you need a vampire to hunt in order to score a vp. Therefore, maybe an inclusion of popular evil-doers, such as Gregory winter Impundulu Ossian (he is awesome at removing excess blood ) Youngbloods Maybe Society of leopold? I would also try to add another spontaneous power, as your deck hinges on it.

Thanks for the interesting suggestions. > > Jussi wrote: > How about adding Sargon Fragment and Cavalier for some extra card recycling? > And Gang Territory? > I think the "no stealth" part of the Sargon Fragment is bad. Ashur would be better maybe, if I hadn't that too-many-master issue. > Non-existant user wrote: > Suggested adds: > > Mr Winthrop: +1 Intercept is not enough against a stealthy prey. > Hunger Moon: if you fail blocking, you get another chance next turn, and it's a good attrition card anyway. > Unleash Hell's Fury: because you can. > Young Bloods: more attrition. > Impundulu: same, but slower. Hunger Moon seems a great addition indead, in case I miss the block window. Unleash is too costly. Henry will do the trick. Attrition allies cost pool (except Impudulu) and requires actions (that can be blocked) > Non-existant user wrote: > Or a completely different approach: add Doris McMillon/Hide the Heart instead of Slaughterhouses. And sure, it needs a way to remove blood from vampires. > Pendargon wrote: > I like it. It is original, and interesting. If it's Suddened, I'll recycle it with the Waste Management Operation. Protean is more useful to survive until the combo is in place. Prince of Paris, France Ratings Coordinator, Rules Director

You do not have to tap with vampiric disease and you can burn the vampire with Society of Leopold (especially if he is already Doomed). I can only see one reliable solution without any action: Vampiric Disease + Nocturn Theater. Another decent attrition event: Narrow Minds. Not great, but still better than cycling a card for nothing. You could also play Smiling Jack, but you would end up killing with Jack more often than the Condemnation and you would be disappointed

Luv the deck - *great* original idea w setting up the Henry module & systematically screwing ur prey. One little query, what is the basic defence against the ol' stealth bleeder? Is the hope a little intercept to slow them enuff to squeeze ur prey first? And should there be an Elder impersonation to ensure the Doomed gets thru? Leopold might be handy, but u probably need at least 1 more way to drop the target vamp's blood. I've always liked Free States Rant, but it may be impossible to rely on with this setup. Probably best to go with the gregory winter/impudulu/ossian/young blood combo. Oh yeah, Hunger moon is awesome for this type of deck (lifesaver in a foul blood deck).

Against bleed stealth, you'll have to rely on the 2 intercept of Henry (Abbot + Sport bike) and the Archon Investigation. To get the Doomed through, I rely on the Forgotten Labyrinth. 4 stealth is enough to bypass Pascek + 2nd Tradition and most of the intercept people have.
