What do you your playgroup use for the Edge? Ours has used everything from an old coin that got flattened on a railroad track, to a lighter, to an empty starter box. But currently, our store games always use a little plastic figure of Demitri from the video game Darkstalkers, glued on top a clear card case that's holding a copy of True Love's Face...and if we're lucky enough to get a second table going at once we use a little metal pocket ashtray in the shape of a coffin.
Our old prince used to carry old plastic skull with tokens inside (also known as Yorrick) .
But, nowadays, we generally use my Medal from a Warmachine tournament, as it is big, shiny and clanky (so you notice the edge change).B)

is my favourite edge. My backup edge is a luminous pink clay dragon (which has the advantage of being somewhat difficult to overlook).
For tournaments in Cape Town one of the local players made us a set of tear drop shaped wooden edges with the tri-snakes logo etched into them.

For a long time it was a small stuffed figure of Sesame Street's The Count. I thought they came from a particular golden-arched fast food chain but other people said they came from a supermarket chain in Australia. I got given one by my gf at the time and Marty got another one from somewhere. My 'The Count' has gone AWOL, which is disappointing, but his is apparently doing just fine.
Now we're using a former spice-jar, part filled with gold leaves from a $2-store's craft section with a small resin skull with a pirate patch inside.

I've played with every version of the official edges, including the pewter ones from the regional qualifiers back in 2001.
Devil Ducks make frequent appearances as the Edge.
Other action figures, including the official V:TM ones, have served as the Edge as well.
Probably my favorite edge to use was a picture of U2's The Edge wrapped around a can of Edge shaving cream gel.

For many years, I used Jiggly-Bastard, er, Koffing or whatever the hell Pokeyman that round purple guy with the skull and crossbones on his belly that I got one time to hold my pennies that I use for pool counters in. But as people were constantly incapable of not turning him inside out and making him into a Pokeyman Ball (which was a feature of the little puffy toy), which made me crazy, I invested in a little plastic D+D fat demon guy (Gnarl demon, maybe?) mini that fits inside Jiggly-Bastard with my Euro pennies. He makes a good edge.

But I got to say that it is small beans compared to the edge I use. Danish Martin tends to call it appropriately "The Happy Man", but I've recently started calling it Gabriel Kikkeli (ie. Gabriel the Willy") out of the sheer respect for the classic Finnish band Sleepy Sleepers.

I bought the statue some years ago while honeymooning in Egypt. The statue is an Egyptian fertility god Ileh Tanasul. The story is that a one-armed and one-legged man stayed behind in his tribal village, to look after the women while the other men went to war. When they returned, they found he had made every women pregnant. They were furious and wanted to kill him. He said that he had done this so as to ensure the continuation of the tribe because the warriors had not come back when expected. Eventually, the tribe came to see him as a demi-god of fortune and fertility. So far the statue hasn't been useful for us fertility vise...

In other inappropriate objects moments... When I was outside a store in a train station in China we found a lamp. It was shaped to look like a small boy with the lampshade over their head... I'm sure you can guess what part of the boy-child was the on-off switch.

Actually the story we hard during our honeymoon was that the men of the village naturally killed the poor sap while returning to the village from the campaign and finding the village populated plenty of new kids. Afterwards while they cooled down they began to think that it was actually a good idea to have these new kids around and thus they deitified to chap for services rendered.

Another item I've started selling that might make a good edge are Emergency Underpants in a tin. I'm going to bring one to the next Seattle play session and see if other people find it amusing for an Edge.

The owner of our edge is now in Mexico as of a couple weeks ago (Hat tip Justin). Until he left we used an obsidian spearhead that appeared as if it was created using traditional methods.
We use plastic skulls, cartoon figurines, multi-sided dice..once I saw a tiny glass bottle of fake blood with a cork thought that looked pretty cool.
The most amusing edge I have seen was years ago when a group of us travelled interstate for a Vtes tournament. We played on one of the dining room tables at the Hostel we were staying at. Across on room on the middle shelf of the refrigerator (door being glass) was a rubber human sized Head (with attached hair). So that was our edge, for the duration of our stay. We got the some strange looks from others; it may have looked a little Jeffrey Dahmer-like from a distance.
My Edge went to Swedish Championships and all I got was 1,5 VP.
Well, at least the Edge made some friends over there...

My first edge was a very RPGy ankh necklace. Then the hard acrylic vtes official edge, but that was too big and it irked me when people stood it on edge and it inevitably fell over.
Now I found this happy fang face button, snipped off the pinback and pulled it out with pliers. It now sits flat with a small tabletop footprint and still stands out while being easily transported within my bloodbank container, it's perfect!
