Error - Wrong date format not checked on new events

I created a new event but mixed up day and month in the start date and end date. I entered "2013-21-04" instead of "2013-04-21". I was able to validate and save the form though, which should have been prevented. Prince of Paris, France Ratings Coordinator, Rules Director
