Clarrification please on Marcus Vitel. If I had the basic version out and then Merged, he becomes sabat, still the prince of Washington DC, and all Sabbat Vampires (including himself as Merged) would get +2 Bleed against Methuselahs who control Camarilla vampires? Right? Marcus Vitel: Camarilla Prince of Washington D.C.: Marcus can burn a retainer as a +1 stealth action. While Marcus is ready and a prince Sabbat vampires you control get +1 bleed when bleeding a Methuselah who controls a ready Camarilla vampire. Marcus Vitel (ADV): Advanced, Sabbat: Any Brujah may enter combat with Marcus as a action. [MERGE] While he is ready and Sabbat, your Sabbat vampires get +1 bleed against a Methuselah who controls a ready Camarilla vampire.

If a vampire with a title changes clans or sects to a clan or sect inappropriate for his title, he loses the benefit of the title until his clan or sect changes appropriately."

Some merged cards have an additional effect that only applies if the card is merged with its base card. Got it. So whats the benefit of merging them if he is to loose his title? the extra disciple Potence? He still gives Sabbat Vampires +1 bleed. Just curious.

There are some vampires that are not necessarily better when they are merged. In this case, maybe its just a matter of choice. if you are voting you probably want to keep the votes, if you are bleeding with sabbat vampires maybe you want the +1 bleed for him too. I just know that there are some vampires that I've asked the same question and never found a good reason to merge them.

merging Vitel would be very useful in case you're up against that one weirdo player who actually uses No Confidence and/or Patsy to wipe out your titles cough cough

he is also for the rare combat lasombra fortitude deck which usually combine moncada, vitel adv and lucita as its main cast.

Marcus Vitel advanced is also a Lasombra vampire (isn't mentioned here). And a "merged" vampire (he can't play Epiphany). However, the title is removed as long as Marcus is not Camarilla. If, for some reason, Marcus returns to the Camarilla (Clan Impersonation, Out of the Frying Pan, Writ of Acceptance, ..), he'd get his titled back (if noone else got it in the meantime). @ Reyda: Try Enkil Cog + Epiphany.

I had a funny deck once where Marcus Vitel got merged, got some Legions, and made an army of sabbat lasombra weenies with the legions who then all bled for 2 with stealth from Marcus. Or 3 if had played dream world that turn also.
