Will you be attending the 2013 European Continental Championship that will be held the 4th-6th of October in Stockholm, Sweden?
Will you do more than 'Like' it on Facebook and attend or attend and bring other players with you?

There will most likely be a good contingent of Finnish players arriving via the infamous ferry lines departing from Turku and Helsinki. There will most likely be some VTES and certainly vast amounts of cheap booze (by Finnish and Swedish standards at least) involved. It is also possible to join this epic cruise, even if you fly first to Stockholm.
Oh, and in addition of trying to talk the Helsinki people join us to Turku ferry, I'm considering the option of organizing a tournament during this 11 hour long cruise.

I'm working on getting the funds together plus I should be able to offer room and board for really cheap as my sister owns a house there. If one contacts me through VEKN I can give more details.

But are the saunas on the ferries?
When you are anvil, be patient; when a hammer, strike.

Are you someone that promotes the game locally? i.e. a volunteer?
If so, I have more expectation that you would attend.
If you aren't a local volunteer, and you are attending, that's great to know too!
If the local volunteers (self-styled princes among men) aren't supporting the continental championships by attending them, then there's a potential problem that could be fixed.

Duh... Of course they have saunas on the ferries. We Finns won't go anywhere en masse without a sauna available.

These could only be caught with the option "I am a [local] volunteer, but I do not attend", which seems to be missing from the poll

That's an awfully negative attitude for a volunteer.
There is already a volunteer list, and as long as the list of positive responses for attendance is smaller than that list, the organization knows that it can improve.
The poll is only interested in attendance, it isn't interested in those who can't / don't / won't find the time / money / vacation to make it to the event.
Then how do you make the difference between the volunteers who'll go to the event, but don't browse the Polling section, and those who won't go, and do / don't browse it?
(yes, I'm also answering because it keeps the topic visible on vekn.net )
Currently, they can expect 23 players to attend.
Since the number of players responding to the poll will not change the date or location of the event, negative responses need not be tracked.
More personal responses can be given in the text replies.
Perhaps something like:
"I am the volunteer from city Xxx and we will bring 10 players and win all the finals" would be more useful.
We've also created an event where people can RSVP to the event. To have an easier time to track how many that acctually are attending the EC. www.facebook.com/events/418502381569414/

If I can get enough $$$ to attend I have no problem in lending a hand.
If its feasible (in terms of $$$) I would love to get back to Helsinki and take a ferry to Stockholm, or take a plane to Goteborg and join the local players in the trip to EC.
Foooook, it is not a short walking distance from Silja terminal but RIGHT next to it; like 300 metres away.
Finland approves!
Now the organizers just need plenty of wheelbarrows so they can transfer the shitfaced and sleep derived Finns to the venue from the ferry.
