Land Tax Unique Master 1 During their untap phase, all Methuselah must pay 1 pool for each location they control. This card can be burned by any minion as a action.

Molloy

I don't think the card is a good idea. What problem is it fixing? What strategy is it empowering? What amusement value does it add to the game? If there is a card like this, it needs to be more like Arika's special. Otherwise, a player could have to burn lots of pool or something with no recourse, since they'll burn the pool before they have a chance to burn the card. That's too jarring to the game. Sabbat. There's already the Arcanum Chapterhouse

Arcanun is only for prey/predator and for HG's. This card is more like "Pay for your parthenon or for your heidelberg". Unlike arika it does not give the location owner the opportunity to burn the locations. Its more in a disruptive strategy of not letting other players setting up their decks... If you are playing with a Parthenon or a Heidelberg this card can ruin your plans...

Seems harsh, man. It's not even in the owner's Untap Phase, it's in the locations' owner Untap Phase...

This card, aside from all the above remarks, is a useless card. Master cards that are neither investments or locations are burned when played, so it will never get around to affecting anybody. And don't start on the "but it's obvious that this should stay in play" argument. Clarity where clarity should be. Suaku Inceptor Asian Continental Championship 興っ www.youtube.com/SuakuOz

Still an useless and very much unneeded card, though...

How many times did you saw cards like this killing someone else instead of the player prey? Instead of that line of thought, why don't you start to think like: If this card was printed, would I use it? - Should I be afraid of seeing this card on the table if playing with this deck? What kind of decks could profit from it? - Is it really a Kill random player? - You can always make a arson deck or a disputed territory or even a montecalme deck. Almost every deck uses locations, might be for intercept, stealth, hunting ground, etc. That is one of the reasons that Arika is so hated. Regarding the card text, yes the "put this card on play is clearly missing", but ideas first card text l8r.

Most deck types use 1 or 2 locations in x1 maximum, and so have a location in play at max. And not every games. The card is unhelpful for you, because even in the case your predator play a lot of location, you want him to stop use them, not give a VP and 6 pool to your grandpredator. And unlike your example, you can't do anything to make your prey suffer more than the other methuselah. The card is completelety uninteractive (you can't even sacrifice your locations !), so it's a Very Bad Idea anyhow. Arika is hated not because its special, even if it help. Arika is feared because she have 4 votes, 3 bleed, and two other good vampires with vote, , and good specials. She could be blank, it won't change a lot of thing. In short, you have a bad idea, this card is unsalveageable, but it happen to most card idea.
