Name: Mithras Clan: Ventrue Group: 6 Capacity: 11 Discipline: DOM FOR OBF POT PRE Camarilla Prince of London: Each turn, Methuselahs can play only one master card each. Mortals and mages can't block Mithras. +2 bleed. World of Darkness reference: A World of Darkness 2nd Edition. This is Mithras before he was diablerized by Monty Coven. An alternative would be to make a advanced version of Monty Coven that would have some Ventrue traits as Mithras is taking control of Monty after the diablerie. Mithras is a very powerful vampire, considered as a god by many mortals, capable of killing many werewolves. He's also a ruler and organizer (thus his control that limits "actions" taken by other Methuselahs) How does this card address a compelling game need? Group 5-6 has only 1 Ventrue with Obfuscate (Graham Gottesman). Instead of introducing another Inner Circle for group 6, an alternative could be to introduce famous 4-5th gen vampires as 11-capacity vampires. His ability to limit master cards is fit a vampire rather than a generic card for decks built around a table-control strategy. I love the 11 cap for Mithras. I love the ability, which tie nicely with its personality. I am a bit disappointed to see no quietus and no assamite-related ability, but it's not an horrible problem.

Nice card. I don´t know if you care, but Mithras in VtM don´t have obfuscate. He has quietus though. "My strategy? Luck is my strategy, of course."

You may want to rephrase the master limit to be Master Phase Actions instead of Master Cards played. With the current wording, using Lilith's Blessing or transferring pool off an Investment would still be usable after the one Master Card is played. Just something to consider.

Looking at Mithras's statistics this would represent him a lot better. Name: Mithras Clan: Ventrue Group: ??? Capacity: 10 Disciplines: Camarilla Prince of London: If Mithras is ready, Methuselahs can't take more than 1 master phase action each turn. Mortals and Mages can't block Mithras. +1 strength. +1 bleed. Disclaimer: no copyright claimed on this work. Jussi Hattara Webmaster Extraordinaire Finnish Politics!

For a 10-cap with such a great special, +1 strength and bleed might be too much.

And rather than giving Mithras +2 bleed, I'd give him +1 strength and +1 bleed as his combat skills and abilities are also quite formidable in VtM. By removing the master phase action special his disciplines and abilities would probably be on par with the current power level. Jussi Hattara Webmaster Extraordinaire Finnish Politics!

make him 11 cap with all the above abilities and SUP Quietus and you got my vote.

With 11 cap he should be Inner Circle just to balance things out. Jussi Hattara Webmaster Extraordinaire Finnish Politics!

But the more I think about it, the more your suggestion seems interesting. > jhattara wrote: > With 11 cap he should be Inner Circle just to balance things out. > The idea was to propose something else than an IC. To quote myself "Instead of introducing another Inner Circle for group 6, an alternative could be to introduce famous 4-5th gen vampires as 11-capacity vampires." Amended version: Name: Mithras Clan: Ventrue Group: 6 Capacity: 11 Discipline: DOM FOR POT QUI PRE Camarilla Prince of London: Methuselahs can't use more than one master phase action during their turn. Mortals and mages can't block Mithras. +1 strength. +1 bleed. (Though POT is supposed to represent his fighting capacities). Prince of Paris, France Ratings Coordinator, Rules Director

Hello! I've done this like 2 years ago, have a look at it! It's a completely different approach... Monty Coven (Mithras) ADV Ventrue antitribu Capacity: 8, Gr: 5 QUI OBF CEL pre for dom Sabbat. Once each turn, Monty can play political actions that require a prince, if he burns a blood and his controller discards a card at random from his or her hand (do not replace it until your discard phase). MERGE: Archbishop of London: +1 strenght

Its probably not a bad idea to add something like: +1 strength against werewolves...

I am not sold that creating two 11 cap which mirror one another is a good idea. I'd better see him as the calm, peace-oriented one (so no bonus strength), especially since it's how he roll in the storyline. I also would not feel constrained by its official sheet for disciplines.
