Name: Billboard #1 Cardtype: Action Discipline: Melpominee +1 stealth action. Gain 1 pool. [mel] Put this card on this acting vampire and burn all other copies of Billboard #1 in play. Vampires with Melpominee [mel] have +1 stealth. If this vampire goes to torpor, you burn 3 pool. You may burn this card during any Methuselah's untap phase. [MEL] As [mel] above, and you gain 1 pool. Art notes: A night-watchman with earphones sitting on his chair near a cc-tv he doesn't watch. He's busy playing air guitar and mimicking a song on his chair while a Daughter is infiltrating. World of Darkness reference: You can basically listen to music everywhere, even at work (hum) which can be distracting. And if you're a business man (), you may gain resources by sponsoring the right artist. Game references: Art Scam, Hidden Pathways How does this card address a compelling game need? Daughters don't intercept and tend to lack stealth. Giving them a new stealth card (that uses an action so the powerlevel is still in line with their current card) can be useful. The main problem with this card is that if you have stealth problem, you won't probably be able to make it succeed. On the other hand, it starts at 1 stealth and you may use all your stealth and block denial on this action to help you for later. I disagree that DoC need any more stealth. They already have MEL stealth card and their own stealth location and an 'unblockable action' card and an unconditional block fail. Also, most of their actions (politics, choir actions...) are already on +1 stealth and g5-6 have access to OBF and they can use Creepshow Casino. They may lack lots of stuff, but imho stealth isn't one of them.

I have to agree. Maybe instead of granting stealth, its like a path that makes melpominee cost one less. Again, not that even that is needed. Daughters arent bad right now, they are only hindered by lack of standing votes other than conductor and fee stakes, and the scarcity of sirens lure. Maybe havin a melpominee card trifle action that at superior gives the vamp 1 additional vote in all referenums would help the former, whilst print on demand will help the latter. I like how useful the outferior is, but im unsure if its too good or not. Im currently leaning toward not, just because art scam, untap, then that isnt as practical as just artscam, untap, and virtually anything else. Especially when i only think 3 !torries can forced march, and patronage to then gain back its cost is dumb.

G2-3 lacks a decent 3-cap and/or a 5+cap (Fee Stake), g4-5 lacks a decent midcap (I mean, Evil Jensen, a 6-cap with only ?) or just more vamps with and g5-6 just lacks another solid vamp. However, both bridge vamps are actually superb (Yseult and Janet) I'd also like some other ways for Daughters to gain titles, other than Fee Stakes. Perhaps some -based Praxis Seizure/Crusade type card, but I don't know how that fits in their fluff, them being all over the place, sect-wise (in vtes).

I have to disagree on them lacking good crypt, group 2-3 crypt is really strong, and with conductor and bastille you don't really need titles to pass stuff. Group 4 is more focused on PRE than MEL, if you want MEL go with group 2. All groups aren't supposed to be identical.

Differences between groups imho should be amongst two other disciplines. I wanted MEL so I went with Daugters, if I wanted PRE or FOR, I'd have gone to any other clan that has it as a clan discipline, and I'd find wider variety of vamps with those diciplines. Therefore, personally I don't have a problem with, for example g5-6, which has disciplines all over the place (8-cap with , 5-cap without any ) because they have good spread and you can make them work. I agree that g2-3 may be the strongest, but even there you have very lacking vampires, like Gael with only (and a very mild disability) and Muse, a 3-cap with 2 inferior clan disciplines and a crippling disability. It is still the best group, just because it has 3 vamps with - even with its lack of all-around , they can be made, and often are made, into a successful political and/or bleed deck. But I digress...I'm just saying that I'd like more solid vamps for Bloodlines clans. It's really sad that when they had the last chance of plugging holes in Bloodlines, they produced such stinkers as Evil Jensen or Sylvie Helgon (mini-rant over).

Klaital

Eh Sylvie Helgon is group 6. Sahana is the ahrimane group 4 and fits perfectly with the rest of group 4, ANI ftw.

Well, it's interesting to see that non-gr2 daughter are supposed to be presence weenie, but it does diverge a lot from the proposed card. As far as I am concerned, daughter don't seem to lack stealth at all. They lack way to survive, which is linked to the relative difficulty to pass your vote, which itself tend to be linked to the fact that their voting power is extremely lacking when people routinely bring Inner Circle on the table. The two option here would be either to give them non-vote related survival option, or give them something which allow them not to be FUBAR when the third inner circle hit the table. (well, of course they have shattering crescendo as defence. But I believe Shattering Crescendo is not very Daughter-like, and if you don't center your deck on it, it won't help too much)
