Hello!
I just want to be sure: Are Eurayle's special text and Renewed Vigour actions while targeting Hazimel, controlled by me? It doesn't spesify they're actions, but they do target him alright.
Refrences:
Eurayle Gelasia Mylonas
:SAL:
Independent: Eurayle may untap any minion as an action. If you control the minion, this is a +2 stealth action. Scarce.
Hazimel
:RAV:
Independent: Hazimel has 2 votes (titled). Non-Ravnos vampires must burn 2 blood to attempt a action that targets Hazimel or a card or counter on him. +1 bleed.
Renewed Vigor
+1 stealth action.
[for] Put this card on this acting vampire. During your untap phase, if this vampire is in torpor, you can burn this card to move him or her to your ready region. A vampire can have only one Renewed Vigor.
[obe] Move a vampire in torpor to his controller's ready region, or restore an ally or retainer to his or her starting life (with life counters from the blood bank).
[OBE] Choose any other vampire. That vampire gains enough blood from the blood bank to reach full capacity.

Also, if Eurayle uses her special to untap a vampire in, say, cross table, is it a action towards that metusalah (blockable only by him) or an undirected action (blockable by my predator and prey) at no stealth?

You don't have the latest cardtext:
Name: Hazimel
[Gehenna:U]
Cardtype: Vampire
Clan: Ravnos
Group: 4
Capacity: 11
Discipline: dem ANI AUS CHI FOR POT
Independent: Hazimel has 2 votes (titled). Other Methuselahs' non-Ravnos vampires must burn 2 blood to attempt an action that targets Hazimel or a card or counter on him. +1 bleed.

A action, and as such it's only blockable by the target Methuselah (+Eagle Sight etc. as usual).

Thanks. I was reading the card text, so no wonder I was confused.
So there goes a great duo down from the drain...

Actions targetting only your own cards are always undirected, so Hazimel's text never affects actions performed by his controller.

Just did. Missed the crucial part on my first read. Cheers. Don't know yet what I'll play tomorrow, so this made those two much more interesting. I'd like to take another shot with Nu, though...
Jussi, the new text (where can I find it officially, actually? Is there an official errata page here in VEKN?) actually says now that all actions that target him cost blood, so in that sense Mylonas would have to burn blood. Thanks to the "Controlled by others" clause he's okay once again.

You're right, but nobody talked about Mylan. Eurayle may look like being Mylan in vampire form, but they still are pretty different
Mylan's action is non-d when it targets your vampires, thus Mylan has never suffered from Hazimel's special either. And on top of that Mylan is not even a vampire or a vampire controlled by another Methuselah. Hazimel's ability kicks in only and only when a VAMPIRE is performing an action, that vampire is NOT CONTROLLED by Hazimel's owner and that vampire IS NOT RAVNOS. Only if all the three conditions are fulfilled, only then does Hazimel's special make it cost more.

Yeah, that's great, but I think I wrote Mylonas, instead of Mylan. Where did you get that from, anyways?
Thanks for the answers. The fact that Hazimel's text has been changed since the printing of the card is good enough. Now, it would be cool to know if VtES Checklist or something is official enough for rules reference, or should I know of an errata compendium or something that's being hosted by VEKN?

They are on hazimel. Should be on everything. But it would be nice if all changes were collected somewhere/all rulings were attached to card look up instead of Q&A stuff just being linked to rulings.
Having said that, its daunting of a task, and im not doing it if given anything but an infinite deadline. B-)

Which is the reason, when you post here, you should copy the cardtexts from there.

They are, on the .csv card list on this site. Secret Library imports its data from that list but as far as I know there is no automated synchronization. Psyche! is up to date and I think it is the most recent change, so Secret Library should be up to date now.

Exactly. The only official and most up-to-date cardtexts are on this website, nowhere else.

Renewed Vigor is a D action against the controller of the chosen vampire.
Answers given previously - Eurayle's Renewed Vigor on your own Hazimel is non-D, and is also not affected by Hazimel's cardtext - are valid.

Always check the cardtext first. That's rule #1. If cardtext seems unclear, the answer might be in the Rulebook or in the Rulings. Or nowhere.
