What will the marketing team be doing to reach V:TES players that don't frequent this forum? Are there plans to regularly post to other forums / mailing lists? Thanks for onother good point. You are absolutly right that marketing must go beyond VEKN forum. I understand it very well. I case of every marketing activity I will try to manage with this issue. The first is the survey and I can tell you that during 2 days we have gathered more than 400 answers from people who are not using VEKN forum. Anyways It would be a good idea to summerise here all potential sites/forums where we should be present. Anyone knows the place we should be ?? Post it here. VEKN Marketing CoDirector

For each survey respondent there is a source link indicattion I will prepare small report on that issue later becasuse it is interesting. In short from what I have remembered there where two main sources: 30-40% - vekn 30-40% - facebook 20%-30% - all the rest including all national forums, etc and yes, I was also suprised about the facebook VEKN Marketing CoDirector

Ever since Kevin mergen got the facebook bug (2 years ago~?) i've noticed a lot of the other groups getting busy or forming e,g, Swedes have several groups for different purposes, Aussies, Caribbean, Uk etc so i'm surprised it's surprising!

More importantly, how do we make sure that all important information is disseminated to all these Facebook groups (considering how many people get their information from there)? I have a couple of suggestions: Find out who are the ones who are linking the information here to their respective Facebook groups and make sure that these people get important information fresh off the presses Get into (join or get invited into) all the VtES Facebook groups/pages and link all important information in those groups/pages as soon as possible [edit]Also make sure Extrala gets all the important information. ok, it took me some time but I have finally made one research regarding "influence of different pages for vtes" I have use my previous survey. It has more than 1000 answers and one of the tools was to track the refference page that linked to the survey. So below you can find data regarding number of reference entrances to the survey from different web pages: From my perspective data are solid. My conclusion is simple. At the moment we can reach more than 70% of "semi-active vtes users" using 3 main web adresses. 1) vekn.net 2) facebook.com 3) vtesone.wordpress.com/ Other have no influence at the moment. Next issue is to reach to potential (new) players. I dont have any possibility to asses this. www.boardgamegeek.com looks like the only reasonable but still very weak. VEKN Marketing CoDirector

Comicshopplus forum used to see more traffic from regional players, but as of now only like 4 of us seem to even check that. According to this, the ccp-ran ww forum gets nobody lookimg into vtes. Is this true? Have we bypassed people trying to find things on there?

By comparing those results with another indicator of national activity, i.e. the number of tournaments held or the attendance to the NC, you might be able to detect if a community is under-represented because of the language bias. I have a gut feeling that the Spanish at least are missing, maybe the Brazilian too. I guess the Swedes all speak English anyway.

In addition, I think that Facebook should not be entirely counted as an English website, because it is also available in Spanish. And taking into account that I announced the survey in Spanish on Facebook as well, considering such a traffic coming from a website in English is not accurate. V:EKN Website Coordinator
