The most pool with a single action?

What's the most pool you can get with a single action (so no Journal of Hrorsh or Villeining a 100cap who has hunted himself full). I can get to twenty - can you beat that? Warning: Spoiler! Unnamed, clan impersonated into Guruhi, ousts with a Legal Manipulations bleed using I am Legion and Edge of the World while a Political Flux for 12 has been voted through. So that's 2+1+1+4+12.

Pascal Bertrand

I got 37 / 49. Warning: Spoiler! Lutz calls Ancient Influence with prey at 1 pool, grand prey at 6 pool, none of these two controlling a vampire, with Political Flux in play for 12, and Khabar: Glory. EDIT: Add Khabar: Glory. You can turn Lutz into a Guruhi if you want. Play Bribes + Voter Captivaion. That's 1 (bribes) + 2 (VC) + 6 (Ancient Influence) + 12 (first out) + 4 (Edge of the World) + 4 (Khabar: Glory) + 6 (second oust) +4 (Khabar: Glory) = 37. Add 1 per discipline card on Lutz. Eventually, if Lutz has turned Guruhi, you might also be playing some Oruns in your deck. If that's the case, say your grand predator calls the AI (which removes Bribes + VC + Edge of the World = 7 pool), you get 2 extra pool per Orun. That's, if you have 11 Oruns on Lutz, a total of 22 + 12 +4 + 6 + 4 = 48 pool. (49, if they play Bribes )

Actually, Pascal, even better if Lutz is not Guruhi, but Assamite. He could then go Khabar: Glory, free untap from it, and then all things just as you made it, for a total of +4 more pool.

Pascal Bertrand

Notice that you just need to control Lutz in my scenario. You could have a Guruhi play Edge of the World, *and* Khabar: Glory in play. And your acting minion could be a Brujah.

Pascal Bertrand

Actually, there's better. 69 Warning: Spoiler! K:G, PI (12) in play. You control Lutz and a Guruhi. Tension in the ranks is in play. say your acting minion has CEL + POT, and calls the AI. Your first prey has 1 pool. She blocks. in the combat, you play Torn Signpost, Hand strike, Pursuit for an additional strike, Torrent, Disarm. That's 12 + 4 pool. Play Edge of the World to cycle. New prey blocks. Repeat for 10 pool. No other blocks. Your prey is ousted by Ancient Influence - 6 (oust) + 4 (KG) + 1 (Bribes) + 2 (VC) + 6 (AI) Your new prey is ousted by Lutz (6 + 4). You've won 20 + 10 + 19 + 10 = 69 pool. Sadly, there's noone left to witness it

Damnans

At least 93 pool (for instance). Warning: Spoiler! 4 vampires + 89 minions in play. I play Autarkis Persecution for the win V:EKN Website Coordinator

Since you have Assamites for the Khabar Glory, you can sneak in an adidtional pool by adding a contract and The Black Throne. You could boost the tally significantly by putting an Anthema on one of the blockers, although that's starting to be a real stret -- National Coordinator South Africa

Suoli

1. Play PB: Montreal and gain X pool. 2. Play Bounty with X pool. 3. Burn the vampire with Bounty to gain X+1 pool. Pros: - literally requires only 1 action, no Clan Impersonating or other setup actions - infinite pool gain Cons: - converts pool gained by Montreal into pool gained by an action, which could be considered pool laundering

And of course, one Parity shift is enough to steal all that pool back. All you need is a 264 player table

Incredibly slow and somewhat boring game with 13 players, half of which seemed to have no clue how to play so the other half were helping them along. 1 Parity Shift managed to convince the entire table to never have a game that big again.

I wish some of these posters (Pascal) would remember that the requirements are the most pool with a single ACTION. Too little restrictions. I have all the Hermanas ever printed in play and play a Consanguineous Boon for gazillion pool! Jussi Hattara Webmaster Extraordinaire Finnish Politics!

Theoretical things like this aren't that interesting... it would be much more interesting to hear what people have actually managed to do in an actual game. My personal pool gain record from an entire turn in an actual game was somewhere around 30, 32 I think, without even including any ousts. That was loong ago, and included two minion taps (with parthenon), and then a capped political stranglehold four 8+ caps out. (it was an old school obf Ventrue deck with Arika and her friends)

i made 45 in one turn, playing nosferatu royalty breed/boon with 3rd traditions, i called 5 consanguineous boons with 9 nosferatu on the table... my pooltotal was just below 60 if i recall correctly
