This is an old doubt, which ruling has been altered from time to time, so I'm still needing a 'once and for all' answer. There is many options to recover cards from the ash heap: Pochtli Carlotta Giovanni Sargon Fragment Clio's Kiss Whispers from the Dead Ashur Tablets ... the list goes on What I want to know is: Is the player recovering the card(s) from the ash heap obliged to show to the others which cards he is taking back? I assume yes, he is, as the AH is public and can be looked through before and after the action, but would like to have a confirmation from our rulemonger.

Pascal, the rules should state that if you are such a skilled magician that you can remove cards from your ash heap undetected, you should be allowed to do so. @KJM: If that rule EVER becomes part of VTES... I will NEVER play VTES with this man... Sunovabiatch would yoink your pool while you aren't expecting it and probably rearrange his deck while you were watching! Retired Baron of Sydney, Australia, 418
