Some cards to represent the Nagaraja's discipline of Nihilistics.
Aura of Decay
Card type: combat
Requires: Nagaraja
Only usable before range is chosen.
The opposing vampire, mummy, or zombie (and his hUor her mummy and zombie retainers) takes 1R damage each round of combat during strike resolution. A vampire can play only one Aura of Decay each combat.
Nightcry
Card type: action
Requires: Nagaraja
Cost: 1 blood
+1 stealth action.
Search your library or ash heap for a wraith ally or retainer. Show it to all players and place it in your hand (shuffle and discard afterward). If this Nagaraja has a capacity greater than 5, he or she can recruit the ally or employ the retainer as if he or she meets the requirements (pay costs as normal).
Oblivion's Dance
Card type: combat
Requires: Nagaraja
Cost: 1 blood
Not usable on the first round of combat.
Strike: 3R damage, this strike cannot be dodged.

Oblivion dance is so weak it is useless (round 2 strike that cost blood ? For this price we can burn vampire outright in obtenetration...).
Nightcry seem too risky for me. Ponticulus is ridiculous enough when only played by tremere and true brujah. It's not a case of brute power, more a case of "if everybody can get a damage immune blocker, nobody will ever die".
Why not for Aura of Decay.

A Nagaraja can't recruit Ponticulus.
I like the 2 first cards. Oblivion's Dance is crap.

By text, he can recruit Ponticulus with the second card.
Better to make all those cards with special rules when played by nagaraja.
Sabbat.Black Hand Shakar: Lech loathe ranged weapons. Once each action, he may burn 1 blood to become Camarilla Prince of Krakow until the end of the action.
So, is Nightcry too cheap or too powerful?
Lech. Why should these be Necromancy cards with special rules? Why can't they just be Nagaraja cards, there are only 3?

Nagaraja usually only get played in Giovanni decks which already have access to Tye Cooper and Ambrosius. Considering that to play Ponticulus in such a deck you would have the additional opportunity costs and potential dead cards? The net gain vs. just having Tye Cooper is completely acceptable IMO.

To increase playability. Nagaraja are fundamentally a support clan and their clan cards, if there should be any, should reflect that.

I disagree. I have seen some specific nagaraja played in a lot of deck, because some, like Le Din Tho, Sennadurek, or Ashuresh, have very useful special hard to get otherwise. Also, they often mesh well as or mid cap with useful special, so it's extremely restricting to use them only with Giovannis.
Considering that, it does indeed make easier to get a (regular) damage immune blocker. Which may not be uber powerful (compare to Marie Streck + War ghoul for example) but it's annoying and lead to more timeout, which is alway bad.
As a side note, it also autorize Mata Hari to tutorize thoses aforementionned wraith.

I skipped the "as if he or she meets the requirements (pay costs as normal)." part, you're right.

I share Ohlmann's concerns about the card, but I think you've addressed the wrong part.
The Nagaraja aren't very combative already. Aus/Dom/Nec isn't the makings of a strong combat clan. Pot/Dom/Nec doesn't make the Giovanni that great in combat, and Auspex isn't exactly helping that much. Going to a second round means you've already been potentially exposed to a world of pain. Honestly, I don't see it making a great combat card when it's stuck in the second round.
In addition to that, second round card are already scarcely played while they are a lot more powerful.
Then again, not every card have to be playable. It's just that at best the card will be a trap. If a Nagaraja is dead-on trying to do damage, Psychic blast which is free and playable on first round will usually work a lot better. A psychic blast is already pretty bad when you are not black hand.

You will laugh at my telepathic tracking + Oblivion's Dance deck!
(hint: it will do as well as my Riposte deck!)
Independent Futurist. Contrarian (titled, X votes where X is the number of votes as the acting minion.) Target Vitals is always the better combat card.
