Hi there, I'm trying to build a deck featuring the latest Baali that has voting power and awesome specials. But using the specials usually requires to have an additional untap. Or it can save pool by not paying the infernal penalty. The key vampires are: Arishat Clan: Baali (group 6) Capacity: 6 Disciplines: DAI OBF PRE Independent: Arishat has 1 vote (titled). Once each referendum, she may burn 1 blood to force a vampire to abstain. Infernal. Cheap, has more votes than an inner circle. Annazir Clan: Baali (group 5) Capacity: 9 Disciplines: DAI OBF POT PRE Independent: Annazir has 2 votes (titled). He may burn a location or steal an equipment as a action. +1 bleed. Infernal. Awesome specials. Xeper, Sultan of Lepers Clan: Baali (group 6) Capacity: 7 Disciplines: OBF PRE ani dai pro Independent: Xeper gets 1 additional vote for each ready unique infernal vampire you control. He may steal an ally controlled by another Methuselah as a action. Infernal. Idem. So the idea is to build a vote deck with permanent untaps. How do you intend to oust? Mostly by voting (Neonate breach, Domain challenge...). Bleeding can help too (include a Heart of the City or two, and some Sense the Sin). How do you intend to keep from being ousted? A little intercept (Sense the Sin), some pooling with Voter Captivation, Banishment for slowing the predator, 2 Archon Investigation for the rest. Some Villein helps to reduce the cost of the vampires, they'll be filled up with Voter Captivation. What do you want your ready region to look like (ie, how many guys are you planning on getting out)? Arishat, Annazir and Xeper, the two latest with some permanent untap. And maybe a little non-infernal minion with obf. What do you want your average turn to look like? Call a vote or two, untap, use a special or stay untapped. What's your metagame like? How do your opponents play? It doesn't matter. Include some combat cards though. Any ideas for the best way to achieve this? The main problem is to get a permanent untap. THA skill + Rutor's Hand? SER skill with Temptation? Black Hand tech? Anything else? Thanks for the ideas! Prince of Paris, France Ratings Coordinator, Rules Director

Name: Cavalier [HttB:R] Cardtype: Master Master: archetype. Put this card on a vampire you control. Once per turn, when this vampire successfully performs an action that costs 1 or more blood, he or she may burn an additional blood to untap. ={A vampire can have only one archetype.}= Artist: Brian LeBlanc Another option would be Mylan Horseed: Name: Mylan Horseed (Goblin) [Gehenna:R, KMW:PB, Third:R] Cardtype: Ally Cost: 1 pool Unique changeling with 1 life. 0 strength, 1 bleed. Mylan can untap a ready non-Camarilla vampire with a capacity above 7 as a +1 stealth action. Once each combat, he may dodge as a strike. Mylan cannot block vampires. Artist: Richard Thomas And another option would be using Helicopters (if you gain enough pool) Name: Helicopter [Third:U/PTr, KoT:U] Cardtype: Equipment Cost: 3 pool Vehicle. When a minion equips with the Helicopter, tap it. After resolving a successful action, this minion may tap the Helicopter to untap. A minion may have only one vehicle. Neither Homunculus nor Concordance allow the minion to act twice a turn. I like the Cavalier route, so I tried to include it in a test version: Deck Name : Cavaliers de l'apocalypse Author : Ankha Description : Crypt [12 vampires] Capacity min: 5 max: 9 average: 7.25 3x Annazir 9 DAI OBF POT PRE 2 votes Baali:5 3x Xeper, Sultan of L 7 OBF PRE ani dai pro Baali:6 3x Arishat 6 DAI OBF PRE 1 vote Baali:6 2x Scout Youngwood 8 MEL OBF PRE for qui 2 votes Daughter :6 1x Abdelsobek 5 for nec obf pre ser Follower :5 Library [79 cards] Action [11] 4x Condemnation: Mute 2x Heart of the City 4x Legal Manipulations 1x Unleash Hell's Fury Action Modifier [18] 3x Elder Impersonation 5x Lost in Crowds 2x Perfect Paragon 8x Voter Captivation Action Modifier / Combat [5] 5x Force of Personality Action Modifier/Combat [5] 5x Swallowed by the Night Ally [2] 1x Mylan Horseed (Goblin) 1x Veneficti (Mage) Combat [4] 4x Staredown Master [22] 1x Archon Investigation 3x Cavalier 1x Coven, The 2x Dreams of the Sphinx 1x Giant's Blood 1x Pentex(TM) Subversion 1x Secure Haven 8x Villein 4x Wider View Political Action [12] 2x Domain Challenge 1x Meddling of Semsith, The 4x Neonate Breach 5x Reckless Agitation Prince of Paris, France Ratings Coordinator, Rules Director

You could go the anarch-route and use firebrand for perma-untap. Use Anarch Secession to make your titled baali anarch. It's iffy, but it's permanent, it's cheap, gives you an additional vote and it fits the votercap plan. Also it gets you anarch railroad which is nice.

If a titled Independent vampire goes Anarch, does he lose his title?

It's not permanent, but it might be very helpful to consider My Kin Against the World. You can play that awesome master for infernal vampires to Groom for free and then untap a bunch of them when you need/have to. You can use Voter Captivation to refill after paying the blood cost. I'm picturing using a few copies of the 9-cap with 2 votes, some of the smaller ones and then a fair amount of Hordes. Don't forget to throw in a few Path of Evil Revelations and maybe Tribute to the Master. This doesn't stop you from playing Cavalier and Mylan. Be careful when you fight the monsters, lest you become one. -Friedrich Nietzsche brandonsantacruz.blogspot.com/

Or at least it is very restrictive since you must call it with the highest cap Baali, plan to keep 2 blood and stops you from calling another vote with the vampire. And it's not permanent anyway. I'd change the Wider Views to Tend the Flock. This card is huge. Baron of Frankfurt

I've tested the deck yesterday. 4 players table Me > Brujah debate > Valerius + Trem wall > Ariadne Garou. GW 4 for me as I teamed up with the Valerius deck to oust the brujah debate that was becoming extremely dangerous, the Valerius got pentexed and I killed him with a Reckless. The last point was easy with no intercept. The Cavalier was useful once as it allowed me to steal Carlton and call a vote in the same turn with Xeper. I drew little combat but managed not to go to torpor. Have to test it with a bleed aggressive predator. Prince of Paris, France Ratings Coordinator, Rules Director
