If a minion plays an action card which is cancelled with Power of All, is the acting minion tapped or not? I know that the cost of the action is paid, but I'm not sure if the minion stays tapped or not. DI has specific reminder text clarifying that the minion untaps. Thanks, Ira Power of All Reaction 2 blood Requires a ready anarch. Tap this anarch and one other untapped ready anarch you control to cancel a library card as it is played. Usable even if there is no action. Not usable during your own turn. Direct Intervention Master: out-of-turn. Cancel a minion card as it is played. No cost is paid. (If it was an action card, the acting minion doesn't tap. If it was a strike card, the minion chooses another strike.) Ira

An action is not played and a vampire is not tapped until the as played window doesn´t resolve. For this matter, any DI like card acts the same way. The acting minion doesn´t get to be tapped and the cost isn´t paid eather.

I have another question regarding this card: Anarch A plays PoA, anarch B is chosen to tap. Q: does anarch A need to tap? or can play PoA using on the qui vive/wake/forced awakening/Eye of argus? thx!

Other thing is a card like Telepathic Misdirection which says "tap this reacting vampire". This is no "tap to do something" but more a "this vampire becomes tapped if he isn't already". Card text: "tap to" > Relevant card text: The Mole (dom): Only usable when you are being bled by a younger vampire. Tap this vampire to cause the action to fail. Babble (DEM): Tap this vampire to untap another ready minion.

Correct answers from jamesatzephyr. The acting vampire isn't tapped yet when Power of All is played. The cost of the action is not paid (cost of actions is only paid on successful resolution of the actions) Might I also add that DI doesn't untap the minion, but merely "not tap him" (for instance if you DI Force of Will, the guy won't magically untap) Here's a quick recap, using Kindred Spirits. 1 - play the action card from your hand. Announce which minion is performing the action. Announce which the targets are (in this case, the target of the bleed). Announce the level of discipline. Announce whatever else you could announce (for instance: X in cost) 2 - wait for DIs - this is the "as played" window 3 - if there was no DI, replace the action card and tap the acting minion 4 - you are now in the "as announced" window, you can play Seduction (but not Eyes of Chaos yet)
