Hello. (Somewhat) frequent JOL player here.
How are games via Lackey organized? I'm looking forward to a whole week at the office without a boss, so it might be a good time to get some play time.

Many players are on Skype too, but that doesn't really help organizing games.
Many times did I connect, but there was no one.

I think some time ago there was a mentioning of an IRC-Channel to organize games.
Not sure where I read it though.

There's the #vtes IRC chan that can be accessed on this page . I suggest players looking for JoLmates pick a nickname starting / ending with jol_.
Example: jol_Ankha
Use
/nick fooo
to change your nick to fooo.
Maybe removing the "jol_" from your nick will help other people find JoL available players

CryWolf was looking for lackey players, not jol players.
But a vtes irc channel could do the trick if everyone knows they must go there first.

any kind of group, forum or mailing list you can subscribe would be suitable to arrange games.I do not think a chat or other synchronice communication way can be suitable, as you have to be connected to do so...
How about doodle? Everyone interested enters his free time, and when 5 players match, they just have to contact each other.
EDIT:
Something like that:

I used the Vtes IRC channel, but everytime I joined there was nobody in. It is still a synchronice communication way, isn't it?. It is better to use the Lackey chat directly instead then, or make a yahoogroup or mail distribution list with the weekly game appointments. People could then organice their agendas.
