Could someone please politely point me to a website that details how to get involved with sanctioned tournaments and where the 2003 qualifiers will be? I have an interest in tournament play but know little of the tournament setting. I do notice that the tournament rules are posted on the WW site...I see little else though about how to get involved and to qualify. Thanks in advance. -Shawn D

[ quoted text not captured ] Getting involved with sanctioned tournaments: http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/veknTournament.html (That's "How to Organize a Tournament" from the VTES homepage) Moreover, if you want to, you might consider becoming a prince. More information: http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/vekn.html specifically: http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/Req-prin.html The 2003 qualifiers have not been planned yet. When the time comes, they will be set up through the princes (and, typically, in locales that have hosted a few tournaments and have shown suitable activity levels). The 2002 qualifiers are listed here: http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/vekn2002champ.html -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Links to V:TES news, rules, cards, utilities, and tournament calendar: http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/

[ quoted text not captured ] Well what you'd want to do is contact your local Prince, and ask him/her when, where, etc. tournaments are being held and attend! 2003 qualifiers won't even be discussed until about February of next year so no worries. As for contacting the local prince, on the VTES page, toward the bottom is a list of all the Princes. hopefully there's a city with a prince reasonably close. E-mail them. If there's no Prince around you, you can always e-mail WW and request to become Prince of your city (if there's enough players.) Peter Muto VEKN Prince of Toronto

Thanks for your replys Mr Muto and LSJ. Much appreciated. Here in the Louis, we do in fact have a Prince and I've played the game with him on a few occaisions. I've not, however, approached him with the subject of a sanctioned tournament yet. We've at least eight regular hard-core players in our circle. That's not to say that there could be plenty of others lurking in the area. I'll research the issue and propose the idea. Thanks again. -Shawn D

Princes are just those who run them more often (supposedly...) DaveZ Atom Weaver
