Alright, now with final nights I'm really confused. It was my understanding that the clan symbols were clan specific, and that Toreador was not equal to Toreador antitribue (think aire of elation). But with the introduction of Setite Camarilla members, Ravnos Sabbat, Assamite Cammies and so forth, what happens to cards that have the Assamite(or Ravnos, Setite, etc) symbol? Can they only now be used by Independant Assamites? If for instance Alamut can affect Tegyrius, Vizier (Cammie Assamite), then would it now follow that Toreador Antitribue could use aire of elation? How does consanguinous boon fit into this? Any help appreciated.

Gaining a sect does not change the assamite/fos/whatever into a new clan. The toreador and !toreador should be considered (for all intents and purposes) COMPLETEY different clans...as if Toreador were known as Toreador and !Toreador were known as Krangs

Correct. Even a Toreador antitribu with a writ of acceptance (making him a Camarilla Toreador antitribu) could not get +3 bleed with Aire. > But with the introduction of Setite Camarilla members, Ravnos Sabbat, > Assamite Cammies and so forth, what happens to cards that have the > Assamite(or Ravnos, Setite, etc) symbol? A Camarilla Assamite, Independent Assamite, and/or a Sabbat Assamite all qualify. > would it now follow that Toreador Antitribue could use aire of elation? Can use it, but only for +1/+2, since a Toreador antitribu is not a Toreador. > How does consanguinous boon fit into this? It selects clans. Sect is unimportant to Consanguinous Boon. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
