I have a question concerning Horrid Reality in DS. I'm sure that this has already been debated around here but I couldn't find a ruling anywhere so here it is : If I use Horrid reality to bring out a unique weapon (say Talbot's Chainsaw or Sengir Dagger) that is already in play, what happens. According to the rules both weapons should immediately become contested, which means I end up without a weapon. Background reasoning tends to imply that I should have the weapon as Horrid Reality is only an illusion. But then it could be argued that if someone else around the table has that weapon and know it's unique they also knoe yours is a fake so HR doesn't work... I would be tempted to rule that HR ignores Unique weapons, but this may seem a bit harsh... Opinions ? Ben.

Opinions ? I tend to prefer taking the rules literally. This happened in a game I played, with the Ivory Bow, and it became contested and could not be used, because it is really "in play" and b the rules must be contested. ~~~~~~~~~ Whom computers would destroy, they first drive mad ~~~~~~~~~ Timothy Coffman - Computer Engineer, Hermit, Philospher /nick Three Timo...@mail.airmail.net ~~ You can't tell which way the train went by looking at the track ~~~
