I read back there the following: >There is a rule prohibiting a minion to play a given modifier / reaction >card a second time for the same action. >Example: it is forbidden to modify two times with Lost in Crowds. Can the acting vampire play a Cloak the Gathering to get +1 Stealth and a second vampire play Cloak the Gathering (with Superior Obfuscate) to give the acting vampire another +1 Stealth? Or is this forbidden since it's the same card althought it's been played on different Vampires? Thanx a lot! .- Luis....@ip.pt (aka The Gothlord) ------------------------------------------------- http://enviro.dcea.fct.unl.pt/Gothic/Gothlord

This is applicable even to Lost in Crowds, where a second vampire could play Lost in Crowds on the same action after taking over the action with Mask of 1000 Faces. If a vampire with obfuscate takes an action, and there are 3 other ready vampires with superior obfuscate, then it is concievable that all 4 could play Cloak the Gathering for a total of +4 stealth. It doesn't even matter if the other 3 are tapped or not, as CtG is not a reaction card. Lupus Australis ____ ____

You can have the acting vampire play (inferior) Cloak the Gathering and play (superior) Cloak the Gathering with each of your other Ready vampires. -- L. Does this also apply to Telepathic Counter, to reduce a bleed on you by a tapped vampire? The only difference is TC is a reaction card, while CtG is an action modifier. What's the ruling? No. The rules clearly state that only untapped minions can play reaction cards. > The > only difference is TC is a reaction card, while CtG is an action > modifier. What's the ruling? Action Modifiers can be (and usually are) played by tapped minions. -- L. Scott Johnson (vte...@wizards.com) Official VtES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast.
