On the White Wolf site, the interpretation is that the reduction of blood is what triggers the burning of the vampire, and hence the pool gain for the opposing methusalah. How am I to interpret this? We're having a debate in our playgroup right now concerning the nature of this card. Example: Vampire A has been named for an Anathema vote. Vampire A enters combat with Vampire B. Vampire A has one blood on it. Vampire A uses a skin of steel to prevent the opposing minions strike(s). Does paying for the card constitute a reduction of blood, and hence cause the vampire to burn? The site says regardless of the source, which leads me to believe this is the case. Any clarification would be more than welcome. I'm thinking the Brujah/Nosferatu princes would be hellacious if this were the case. Thanks in advance! Jon

If the vampire's blood level is reduced (from some positive amount) to zero in combat, the card's effects are applied. > We're having a debate in >our playgroup right now concerning the nature of this card. He had 1 now he has 0, so there's been a 1-blood-point reduction. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
