Can you press to end a trap card? How long does combat last? Basicly how does this card work?

If either minion wishes to cancel the press (with a Press (to end)), that's perfectly acceptable. The trap will provide its Press provides that the current round is *not* the third consecutive round which has passedsince the last round in which a Methuselah played a card (playing the Trap itself counts as a card played, so a minimum of four rounds of combat will occur if no further cards are played). Going to torpor or playing Strike: Combat Ends or tapping the Elysium or Mariel will end the combat outright. -- ----- L. Scott Johnson (lsc...@crl.com) Graphics Specialist and Jyhad Rulemonger

Peace Kevin, One of the Meths involved in the combat plays Trap before range is determined. When the Press Stage (not the correct term, sorry) of combat comes around, the Trap card checks to see if three rounds of combat have been resolved without any cards being played. If the answer is yes, then the Trap does not press. If the answer is no, the Trap card itself provides one (and only one) press only to continue combat. This means that combat will last (barring one of the participants going to torpor/ash heap) a minimum of four rounds (since playing the Trap card itself means that there was a card played in the first round). Yes, either minion may press to end combat. I hope this helps. Nil carborundum illigitimi, James R. McClure Jr. The OS/2 Apostle <insert disclaimer here>
