"While Slag is ready, any Methuselah playing or discarding a card during a referendum must show you the card drawn to replace it." Two quick questions about this ability: 1) Does this include cards discarded to a tapped Barrens, etc, during the referendum? (I assume "yes", there's really no other way to read it, but I am just checking). 2) If someone plays a Wake with Evening's Freshness during the referendum, does Slag's controller get to see the card they draw during their next untap phase to replace it? Thank you.

If he's still ready.

So if he's played a bunch of wakes, one of which was during a referendum, and he's replacing 2 or 3 cards, say, during his untap phase, does he have to declare "this is the card replacing the Wake I played during the referendum" before or after he gets to see it?

Sorry, I asked an "A or B" question. "before or after?" But I assume your "How else?" is saying "He must declare which Wake he's replacing before he looks at it."
