IF say Cailean (nos anti) bleeds and is blocked by Walter Nash with a Sniper Rifle...what takes effect? Cailean's ability to set range or the sniper rifle's ability to set range? What if Theo Bell plays Immortal Grapple on Cailean and uses the press from superior immortal grapple what takes effect...immortal's auto close range or cailean's set range ability? thanks johann

Cailean's ability to set range or > the sniper rifle's ability to set range? As the attacker has first "shot", Cailean can set the range as desired. Once the range is set for a round it cannot be set again so the sniper rifle's ability cannot be used unless Cailean declines to use his ability (but why would he?) > What if Theo Bell plays Immortal Grapple on Cailean and uses the press > from superior immortal grapple what takes effect...immortal's auto > close range or cailean's set range ability? Hmm, not sure here. I think that assuming the first round of combat was at close (allowing the immortal grapple to take effect) the Immortal grapple ability (as it occurs before the determine range step) would take presidence and preventing Cailean from setting the range of combat for that round. Hope this helps, -JTP

[ quoted text not captured ] Correct. Once rage has been set (in this case by the previous round's IG), it cannot be reset (by Cailean, for example). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
