Previouslly I had asked if someone wakes/forced a minion and then played obedience, would this return him to an untapped state when previouslly he was tapped? And got the answer that he would not, he would remain tapped after the attempted block and combat if any. (barring majesties and the like I presume). What if the acting minion played a change of target vs a waked blocking minion? It states that both minions untap and the action is cancelled. Or would the previous ruling apply, that the tapped minion has to untap himself via something else? T

Where was this card reprinted? On a related note, if a vamp wakes/forceds and is able to block or react 'for this action', could he attempt a second block of a minion that he had blocked but played FOM against him? I ruled he could, just checking. T

The curly braces indicate errata, not a new printing. The errata was issued in [RTR 08-JUL-1996]. > On a related note, if a vamp wakes/forceds and is able to block or > react 'for this action', could he attempt a second block of a minion > that he had blocked but played FOM against him? Yes. [ quoted text not captured ]

The VTES reprint had different text than the original Jyhad one. >On a related note, if a vamp wakes/forceds and is able to block or >react 'for this action', could he attempt a second block of a minion >that he had blocked but played FOM against him? > >I ruled he could, just checking. Correct. Wakes/FA's last for the remainder of the action. If Minion A wakes to block Minion B, Minion B Forms of Mist (Mirror Image or Shadow Body) to continue the action, the wake will allow Minion A to block again (provided he has enough intercept).
