Fame has been errataed to a unique master, but my play group always plays differently. We use Fame as a unique title granted by the card. It is therefore contested just like being a Prince or Justicar. If it is contested, this makes it easy for the famous vampire to get into torpor (just keep losing blood each turn), but fame must be given up as soon you hit torpor. This is only recommended for the more Malkavian among you... You gotta be *really* Malkavian to go to torpor for no reason at all :-) -- L.
