Hi! 1. Can i move blood to a vampire with a Blood Doll in torpor? The card doesn't state that the vampire must be ready. 2. Can a vampire with Pentex Subversion play reaction cards like Telepathic Counter, Delaying Tactics or Deflection? 3. Vampire A has a melee weapon that gives him +2 hand damage. Vampire B enters combat with Vampire A, and plays Immortal Grapple. Is vampire A hand damage increased by his melee weapon? --- The next questions are not totally related with the card game... -Can anyone explain me what is an Inner Circle member in Vampire world and why does he vote in the game? -What is an Archon? Apart from V:tES CCG, can any vampire be an Archon? Thanx a lot! .- Luis....@ip.pt

No. The increase from the melee weapon is only applied when striking with the melee weapon. -- L. Scott Johnson (vte...@wizards.com) VTES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast. Yes, you can. As you state, there is no restriction on ready or not. > 2. Can a vampire with Pentex Subversion play reaction cards > like Telepathic Counter, Delaying Tactics or Deflection? The only restriction is on blocking and taking actions. Playing reaction cards that are not part of a block attempt are perfectly legal under the effect of Pentex Subversion. > 3. Vampire A has a melee weapon that gives him +2 hand damage. > Vampire B enters combat with Vampire A, and plays Immortal Grapple. > Is vampire A hand damage increased by his melee weapon? No, as you need to strike with the weapon in order to get the +2 hand damage. A strike with a weapon is not a hand strike and could not use his weapon under Immortal Grapple. > -Can anyone explain me what is an Inner Circle member in > Vampire world and why does he vote in the game? Each clan in the Camarilla chooses a representative at the Conclaves, large gatherings of vampires for mainly political discussion. They are also responsible for choosing the Justicars. The Justicars' official duty is enforcing the will of the Inner Circle. > -What is an Archon? Apart from V:tES CCG, can any vampire > be an Archon? Archons are chosen or created by Justicars to serve them. Justicars can choose any vampire to be their Archon, including independents like Assamites, but they may feel political repurcussions from such selections. Justicars and Archons have nearly free reign as long as they don't do anything too drastic. If you've got a Justicar or Archon watching you, you'd better watch out. They are quite literally the "inner circle" and top members of the camarilla as most of the vampires of generations higher than them to not consider themselves to be part of the camarilla, sabbat or whatever. Incidentally, in game terms, the inner circle are one step below the methuselahs, meaning they're one step below you in the game. > >-What is an Archon? Apart from V:tES CCG, can any vampire >be an Archon? Archons are a force created by the justicars to give them aid on judgments(hence the need for a justicar and in smaller cases, princes are allowed to assign I believe, but they're not true archons). Any vampire can be assigned the position. They are one of the few classes of vampire that is granted the ability to outright kill another kindred without coming under judgement of the justicars (hence no bloodhunt). The only way to remove them is to vote them down or have them killed. Vince
