If a master card is played on a member of a specific clan, i.e. it can only be played on a member of a specific clan, do its effects persist even if the vampire changes clans with Clan Impersonation? Some examples: A Toreador with Aching Beauty becomes a Malkavian. The Aching Beauty stays around, right? And its effects persist? What about cards like Triole's Revenge? You play it on a Ventrue. If they change clans, they still don't avoid the effects of the Revenge, correct? I just want to make sure that Clan Impersonation does not affect any cards that might have been played on the vampire in question.

The only thing Clan Impersonation affects (besides which clan the vampire is) is whether or not the vampire is considered a Camarilla vampire (based on the new clan's sect). -- L. An assamite who uses Clan Impersonation (CI) to become Gangrel will thus be a Camarilla vampire, a Gangrel, and remain unable to commit diablerie (by card text on all Assamites so far). A Gangrel who uses CI to become Assamite will thus be a Non-Camarilla vampire, an Assamite, and able to commit diablerie (as all vampires can, barring card text). -- L.
