Excuse me if this has been asked before. Couldn't find anything in Google. If a minion gets a Leather Jacket via Pier 13, Port of Baltimore, do they untap at the end of the turn? Thanks in advance. Cheers, WES

[ quoted text not captured ] From online text: Pier 13, Port of Baltimore [SW:U/PB] Cardtype: Equipment Cost: 2 blood This equipment card represents a unique location and does not count as equipment while in play. During your influence phase, this minion may equip with a non-location, non-unique equipment card from your hand (this minion must meet the requirements, if any, of the equipment card). Pay the cost as normal. This is not an action and cannot be blocked. It reads "this minion may equip with a non-location, non-unique". So it is equiping for relative texts such as Black cat. But not for Leather jacket as it states... Leather Jacket [Sabbat:C, SW:C/PB/PT/PV, FN:PS, CE:PTo/PTr] Cardtype: Equipment Equipment. If the action to equip with the Leather Jacket is successful, untap the acting minion at the end of the turn. Bearer may burn Leather Jacket to prevent all the damage from the opposing minion's strike. A minion can have only 1 Leather Jacket. So, LJ only untaps you when you successfully perform the equip action, so it don't triggers with the Pier 13.

The LJ is still 'EQUIPPED', whether it is an action or not, so therefore the minion untaps. This is like the way you can swap LJ's between minions so that they untap... [ quoted text not captured ] Please, reread the online text for Leather Jacket and rethink your statement Leather Jacket [Sabbat:C, SW:C/PB/PT/PV, FN:PS, CE:PTo/PTr] Cardtype: Equipment Equipment. If the action to equip with the Leather Jacket is successful, untap the acting minion at the end of the turn. Bearer may burn Leather Jacket to prevent all the damage from the opposing minion's strike. A minion can have only 1 Leather Jacket. Look carefully at the first statement "if the action to equip" and Pier 13 last sentence is "This is not an equip action" so this is quite clear to me. Swaping LJ between your minions, if it is done by the default equip action covered under 6.1.3 of the rulebook, untaps the acting one. But not rave nor heidelberg do untap those minions with LJ. > Cheers > > JK > Smiling Tom
