Q: Can Hidden Lurker be played after a Change of Target? There is no "combat" so I'm thinking no. Q: Can Hidden Lurker be played after a superior Form of Mist has been played? If yes, when? Q: Can Carrion Crows damage at close range be counted towards Pulled Fangs and Disarm? For example, both minions do 1 damage from hands at close, but minion A played a Carrion Crows which inflicted an extra 1 damage at close. Can minion A play Pulled Fangs or Disarm? Thanks in advance. -Alex

No. Carrion Crows is environmental. The damage is not inflicted by the vampire. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. In message <3B767645...@aon.at>, Thomas Pichler <tom.p...@aon.at> writes [ quoted text not captured ] Yes. However, it occupies the same "slot" as Hidden Lurker, so the acting Methuselah has the chance to play that first. And you'll kill the continue action effect: "Any effect that starts a new combat after the combat that was ended by superior Form of Mist (or continues the combat that was ended) will nullify the "continue action" effect. This includes Psyche (superior), Fast Reaction, Hidden Lurker, and Telepathic Tracking. [LSJ 19980109] " -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D EBD690ECD7A1F You scumbag, you maggot, you cheap lousy faggot B457CA213D7E6 Happy Christmas your arse, I pray God it's our last 68C3695D623D5D

Per this ruling: "James Coupe" <ja...@zephyr.org.uk> wrote in message news: > "Any effect that starts a new combat after the combat that was ended by > superior Form of Mist (or continues the combat that was ended) will > nullify the "continue action" effect. I know form of mist acts as an action modifier when played, but if the effects are cancelled, does that mean you cannot play another? I'm split since the after-combat effects are never seen, and there is no restriction on playing the same strike in the next round. Seems to me that the answer would be that you could play it to end combat, but would not receive the continue at +1 stealth part of the text, but I'm not sure. Thanks for clarification.

Even if they were, canceling an effect is not the same as making it so that the card was never played. > after-combat effects are never seen, and there is no restriction on playing > the same strike in the next round. The acting minion cannot play it at superior twice in a single action. [ quoted text not captured ]
