hi, you run a tournament using the archon and after a round a player drops or a new player shows up. what do you do? when i still ran tuorneys i solved that using the following procedure for adds: go to the sheet for the previous round(s) highlight the player number column copy and paste _values_. thus the previous rounds are not affected by the new player add the player to the methuselahs sheet. correct same predetor prey and starting player issues manually. continue with the next round as if nothing had happened. drops: i never had that issue, but i guess i would have continued the tourney and awarded a game loss to the player in each of the remainig rounds, thus turning a 5 player table into a 4 player table. not the optimal solution, but the only one i can think of at the moment you could hanlde it the same as above, removing the player from the meth sheet, but that would result in that player not showing up in the final result sheet, so that is not an option. it would be great to hear how other organizers handle this when using the standard archon. LSJ: is there a "_the_ way" to do this? regards, Chris.QJ

Then go to the remaining rounds and re-seat them as necessary as you had for the add (that is, check to make sure that available VPs are equitably distributed and then that pred-prey-other relationships are not repeated). -- That is my story, be it bitter or be it sweet.
