Are all strikes based on a "strength + X" effect hand strikes? I was wondering since, for example Burning Wrath has always been seen as a seperate strike in our area, not counting as a Hand Strike? A wording found in another post defining a hand strike: a non ranged, non weapon strike, based on the user's strength. - Andreas Rönnqvist Prince of Gefle

From the online rulings (http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/rulings.html): Hand Strike: any non-ranged, non-weapon strike that deals damage based on the striking minion's strength, or any minion's non-ranged damage-dealing innate strike. (The part after the comma is superfluous with current card texts on allies, but is true nonetheless). Burning Wrath is a hand strike. > A wording found in another post defining a hand strike: > a non ranged, non weapon strike, based on the user's strength. This is a correct restatement of the official definition, yes. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
