Pointless CW Questions for LSJ

I am curious as to how the limitations in that old Wallpaper card Concealed Weapon would be interpretted in certain situations, these limitations being "weapon cannot cost more than 2 pool or do more than 4 damage". If Black Cat were given obfuscate, could she use CW to get a combat shotgun, since it costs her only 2 pool? If a minion already has +2 hand damage, can he use CW to equip with Bang Nakh (giving him a total of 5 hand damage)? If a weapon existed that inflicted +4 hand damage, would one be able to play it with CW if ones hand damage were 0? Or could it be played regardless of the base damage of the minion playing it? These questions are totally pointless, of course. Lupus Australis ____ ____ \ \----/ / |()__()| __\ __ /__ / __\()/__ \ |/ \==/ \| | || |

Yes. > If a minion already has +2 hand damage, can he use CW to equip with Bang > Nakh (giving him a total of 5 hand damage)? Precedent set by a ruling on Illegal Search and Seizure: yes. The Bang Nahk, at +2 hand damage, is viewed as a weapon that does 2 damage by the Rules Team. > If a weapon existed that inflicted +4 hand damage, would one be able to > play it with CW if ones hand damage were 0? It could be played by a vampire regardless of his base hand damage, as above, yes (provided it didn't cost more than 2 pool, which is unlikely unless the weapon carried a severe penalty of its own). -- L.
