Ghoul Retainers cannot be given anything, just like any other retainer. Their special ability allows them to "use" a weapon that their employer isn't using, but the employer is still the bearer of that weapon, not the Ghoul Retainer (important in the case of a Zip Gun or a Bomb). They certainly cannot extend their special ability to "using" a flack Jacket, since the special ability only refers to weapons, not generic equipment. They also could not maneuver with a gun that they were planning on using later in the round. -- L. But what if they "use" Talbot's Chainsaw? That is most certainly a weapon, but it also prevents 1 damage per combat. It seems to me that said retainer could, in fact, prevent 1 damage in this way. > -- > L.
