The new Derange is nice... but one thing is a bit unclear. The card says "This card cannot be played on a Malkavian or Malkavian Antitribu". Does moving the card (as a (D) action) count as "playing", and can the card be moved (back) to a Malkavian or !Malkavian? The old Derange had a ruling that it could not be moved to a !Malkavian. How about this one? //Petri

[ quoted text not captured ] Same, of course. That's the nature of rulings. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Links to V:TES news, rules, cards, utilities, and tournament calendar: http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/

Hmm nice question. I would say it can, since it states move to another vampire, and as far as I know a card moved is not a card played. The old Derange had a ruling that it could not be moved to a !Malkavian. How about this one? Either it is possible, or it willbe errataed before it becomes tournament legal I guess..:) I would have thought that if it cannot be played on a vampire, then you could not move the card to the vampire as it is not a legal target. As such, I don't think it should require errata - it is reasonably clear to me. I think that the new derange will be have to be changed, as I think this could lead to a deck that makes the Baron/Force of Will combo look really wimpy and sick - no I am not calling it broken yet, you'll have to wait until I have built it... -- Posted via Mailgate.ORG Server - http://www.Mailgate.ORG

I have heard similar comments in several places regarding the new Derange. What is this uber-combo you speak of? Some sort of Derange + Malkavian Dementia? (or maybe something with mind rape I'm not seeing?) I am a newb and as such have nowhere near the collection of cards to pull any uber-combo off (at least not one like the aforementioned turbo-Baron), but I am curious what the hype is about here...
