I agree. Leaks and sneak peeks are good, but WW info is best,
methinks.

Yep, seems that WW might be skipping previews since there are so many
spoilers floating around. Seems they forget that a lot of players
don't read the newsgroup or the blogs. They just check the WW website
which is pretty dead when it comes to KoT info, or spoilers regarding
the new promos (no promo updates since the cloak of abalone).
Personally I like to see the art of some preview cards (official
spoilers), I like to see the expansion symbol and I really want to see
the complete list of reprints.
Hopefully they'll add something very soon.

Ad given that the "word on the street" is that the reprinted rulebook
in the KoT starters is unintentionally the LotN content, rather than
having the "Rules Changes" that LSJ has reportedly said there are...
I'd like to get a sense for what the intended rules changes are.
(Probably mostly little things such as Inner Circle being a clan-based
title. But still.)

My guess, considering the cards we've seen so far, is that it would
introduce "Transient" as a keyword on events, which I assume means it
can be played more than once per game; as well as defining Blood Hunt
as a referendum type apart from just being part of a diablerie. I.C.
as a clan-based title seems likely as well.
Also first-strike now beats dodge and S:CE... ;) Okay, maybe not
that.

I bet the expansion symbol is the chess-piece "rook" that is on this page:
http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/index.php?line=news&articleid=1026
It's funny how the KoT banner at the top of the news section on the VTES
page directs you to buying a box of Lords of the Night...
/rumor alert/
Could it be that the poor promotion of this game is a harbinger of one
of the following:
1) CCP phasing out game
2) LSJ moving on
?
/end rumor alert/
Most likely I think it's because Oscar used to do this stuff, but now he
has been promoted and has a lot more duties, but they haven't replaced
him with someone to focus on this now.

Yeah, but I'm hoping it's not :)
And if it is I want to see it on a card to establish how ugly it
really is.

Is this something you made up just now, or an actual rumor you've
heard. I'm hoping on the former. Anyway, to me the most likely reason
for no official previews would be that about half the set has been
spoiled through different channels anyway. IIRC the TR preview was
just a 1 day event where you found 3 cards and the complete setlist
online all of a sudden.

I thought it was Scott who handled previews etc. Doesnät matter
though, I hope someone puts something on the WW website soon. Didn't
know Oscar got promoted either, congrats to Oscar I guess.

That's the symbol. Having seen it on cards brought back from the NAC,
at the size they get printed, it's not too bad, IMO. (A little
awkward on the Crypt cards, as it's bigger, but not atrocious.)
- D.J.
I guess the correct meaning of the symbol is not the rook but the
"Ivory Tower" which is what the Camarilla believes to be... Have a
look to the Fall of the Camarilla artwork to get a
confirmation... ;-)

What I like is that they've finally changed to listing capacity ranges
by giving the first value of the block. I've always thought that made
more sense than their previous practice of avoiding the "equals" case
by going to the first value over the line. Finally, I won't have to
mentally convert things like "capacity above three" into "capacity of
four or greater" (well, except for old printings and old cards... but
it has to start somewhere and I'm very glad they're making that
change).

Yeah, I had a search set up to email me if cards from the set came up
there and was looking around it today. I believe I've seen all the
new cards now (52 library (as reported by The Lasombra) and 124
crypt). One thing I noticed was that there was no Nosferatu clan toy
in the set (the other six clans each got one card). Each discipline
(of the 11 appropriate ones) got two cards, and there was one dual
(Charismatic Aura giving aus and pre a third card).

None likely. Can you really say that there's been a massive drop-off
of support with this release? For one reason or another things are
always kind of sketchy.

If I recall my experience with WW web updates in the past, there was
usually an issue with website changes getting sent to the website
person and then having to wait for the work to move to the top of his
or her todo list. Lots of waiting involved...and gnashing of teeth, of
course.

Hi,
could you please be so kind and tell me how you did that?
I searched ebay.com for "(v:tes, vtes, jyhad) keepers" and got exactly
4 matches. Playing around with key words did not increase the number.
There seem to be no listings that have already ended.
Kind regards,
Marcus

Your headers suggest you're in Europe. If your Ebay settings are set to
only Europe (or only your country), you may have trouble.
For me, I shove in "Keepers of Tradition" (no quotes) and it tells me
that there aren't any hits locally, but international sellers have them.
When I then tick Location: Worldwide, I get a crap-load of hits.

This is strange. Just did as you described, and I get only 2 items.
(Both being whole boxes.)
What do I do wrong?

Thanks for the hints.
I rechecked all the settings but I didn't get more hits. So I guess it
must be the other way round, the listings are restricted to buyers
from certain countries.

Strange as i am in Czech republic, and get mucho hits. Just dont log
in to ebay, do the search making sure you are on ebay.com, not some
affiliate/local version

Having seen the list now, I realize that I still haven't seen at least
one card... Warsaw Station, which would definately make sense as a
Nosferatu card.

I'm in Australia. I went to ebay.com (NOT ebay.com.au, which is the
australian branch). I was NOT logged in to ebay. I typed, as james said,
"Keepers of Tradition" (without the quotes), and got 216 results.
