If you have a vamp with both KSG and Sens Dep on it, can the vamp untap during it's Methuselah's untap phase using the KSG (since that is not "untapping as normal"[Sens Dep text])? Or is the "burns 1 blood to untap" still referring to the normal untapping of the vamp, it just burns a blood off them now? relevant card texts: ******* Kindred Society Games Cardtype: Master Clan: Toreador Master. Put this card on a ready vampire. [This vampire doesn't untap as normal]. During the untap phase, that vampire either puts Society Games on a younger tapped vampire or burns 1 blood to untap. [If the vampire choses to move the Society Games but] there is no tapped younger vampire, Society Games is burned. Kindred Society Games - Master (Tor) · The last sentence is vague. Replace it with "If the vampire doesn't untap but instead moves the Society Games on, but there is no tapped younger vampire to move it to, Society Games is burned instead." [RTR 19941109] · If a vampire has two copies of Kindred Society Games played on it, each copy exerts its own effect on the vampire. Thus, untapping the vampire normally would require the vampire to burn a total of 2 blood. If the vampire does not untap normally, then both Games are moved to other vampire(s), although the vampire could burn 1 blood to prevent one of the Games from moving on. [RTR 19951017] Sensory Deprivation Cardtype: Action Cost: 3 blood Discipline: Chimerstry Choose an ally or retainer in play. If an ally is chosen, he or she does not untap <as normal> during the untap phase as long as the acting vampire remains in play. If a retainer is chosen, that retainer is burned. (S) <Choose a vampire in play>; he or she does not untap <as normal> during the untap phase as long as the acting vampire remains in play. ******* -- chris <www.vtesinla.org> (A V:TES site in development) ultimate disc - V:TES - hockey v:ekn prince of torrance, ca

Untapping as normal is not an option, given the card text you cite: > Master. Put this card on a ready vampire. [This vampire doesn't untap as > normal]. During the untap phase, that vampire either puts Society Games > on a younger tapped vampire or burns 1 blood to untap. A vampire with KSG can pay a blood to untap, even when prohibited from untapping "as normal" (which he always is, by the text above). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
