Say that Ian Forestal (are there any other vamps with vic/for?) gets Minion Tapped down to 2 blood, then plays Bauble and modifies with Daring the Dawn. He places an Assault Rifle on Rudolpho Giovanni. Now, correct me if I am wrong, but the Assault Rifle then stays on Rudolpho and Ian takes a trip to the ash heap. This I'm pretty sure of. My questions are, does the Assault Rifle have any memory of how it was brought into play, and does Ian have any memory of the Assault Rifle he turned into? Could I, for instance, have Rudolpho Possess Ian and bring him back to the active region and allow him all the actions he used to be able to do? And say that someone steals my Assault Rifle in combat, can I burn it during my untap phase, in accordance with Bauble inferior wording? -------------------==== Posted via Deja News ====----------------------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Post to Usenet

He places an Assault Rifle on Rudolpho Giovanni. Dominique is the other vampire that has vic/for (FOR, actually). > Now, correct me if I am wrong, but the Assault Rifle then stays on > Rudolpho and Ian takes a trip to the ash heap. This I'm pretty sure of. Correct. > My questions are, does the Assault Rifle have any memory of how it was > brought into play, and does Ian have any memory of the Assault Rifle he > turned into? No and no. > Could I, for instance, have Rudolpho Possess Ian and bring him back to > the active region and allow him all the actions he used to be able to do? Yes. > And say that someone steals my Assault Rifle in combat, can I burn it > during my untap phase, in accordance with Bauble inferior wording? No, because the Bauble card is no longer in play (it was burned when Ian was). Therefore, its text doesn't apply. -- L. Cards in the ashheap don't have a memory, except in the case of Compel the Spirit. >Could I, for instance, have Rudolpho Possess Ian and bring him back to >the active region and allow him all the actions he used to be able to do? Yes, because Bauble says, "The vampire with this card cannot..." and Ian no longer has the card, does he? > And say that someone steals my Assault Rifle in combat, can I burn it >during my untap phase, in accordance with Bauble inferior wording? No, because it's the wording on Bauble that allows you to do that, and Bauble is no longer in play. -- Justin Fang (jus...@ugcs.caltech.edu) This space intentionally left blank.
