Can a minion with a Masquer attempt to block a 1 stealth action, and when the acting minion declares no more stealth, burn the Masquer to give the minion previously with the Masquer, 1 intercept? Vegas gNat

[ quoted text not captured ] IANLSJ, but I'll give this a go. :) I would say no. Failure to increase stealth is acceptance of the attempt to block, so there won't be any window in which to burn the Masquer. Also, there is no minion you could legally give the intercept to since except the minion with the Masquer (since it's illegal to play intercept unless intercept is required, i.e. the minion is attempting to block and needs more intercept). [ quoted text not captured ] (regarding the illegal to play intercept unless intercept is required point above) By burning the Masquer, I am not increasing intercept for the blocking minion. The amount of intercept has stayed teh same. When the Masquer is burned the minon's intercept is reduced to 0 but then increased back to 1, by the effect of the Masquer. Vegas gNat

[ quoted text not captured ] You're trying to equate "gain 1 and lose 1" with "no effect". If you don't need intercept, you cannot burn the Masquer to gain intercept.
