Situation: say someone bleeds you, and tosses down a Dawn Operation, meaning that all damage done in combat is aggravated. You go through your first combat, and then decide to toss down a Fast Reaction in order to have another of your vamps beat this guy up some more. Is the damage dealt in this second combat aggravated or normal? I could think of it both ways: NOT AGGRAVATED: This is a different combat. This sounds like the strict interpretation of the rules. AGGRAVTED: It's still dawn, after all. This sounds like a better interpretation of the games as it is based on the RPG. Similarly, how about Hidden Lurker? This might be different since it's an action (blah! what a bad ruling!) and not a reaction card. Tom? Tons of reasons why you might want a second combat... Of course, that brings to mind the heinous combination of Dawn Op./Blood Fury or Dawn Op/Blood Rage. Kills those fortitude people. Tried this on my boyfriend the other day. His "c'mon, come and get me" changed to "hey! ouch!" <grin> > >Unless I'm wrong. If your minion got sent to torpor, then perhaps you would like to send in the reinforcement. Better question than I thought. What _is_ the answer? The combat started by Fast Reaction, Psyche, and so on is a second combat. You replace any "do not replace until end of combat" cards before going into it, any "once per combat" equipment or retainers can be used again, etc. Based on all of that, I would say that as written, Day Operation would not apply to that second combat, but I will have to double check that.
