-, many of these are cheap... With Camille: Fame her, bleed with Day Ops, untap with Movement of the Slow Body Rapid Healing with Day Operations, Untap with Movem't... With any superior fortitude vampire, (either camille or with a skill card) bleed, Freak Drive, hunt with Aaron's razor (assuming that's the one that gives you an extra blood whenever you hunt; I'm not sure. If not, Restoration.), Freak Drive, bleed, freak drive, hunt.... With Monocle of Clarity and Succubus club: Will you obey the command I'm about to give you? (note this isn't self-referential.) If yes, give me all your blood. If no, refrain from giving me all your blood. Actually, I just want fame to hose the controller and Monocle to apply only Bto the past and present :x :X A A D B to past and present. M. le B. Marius Pontmercy

(That was right in the little rulebook and has never been questioned, just ignored or forgotten.) Each minion may only use one of any action modifier/reaction on the same action/reaction. So you can't just keep using it over and over. This applies especially to those of you with your supposedly "great" turn three Mega-bleeds. It is good to be creative, and some of us can't help it (I'll use Wake to untap The Elysium), but we all need to abide by the rules at least. Remy leb...@u.washington.edu | It's not my fault! Whenever you untap with freakdrive and start another action, you are starting another action(easy to understand right) therefore you can play freak drive on that new action.

The card, I'm sure, is intended for the holder to glean : information, not for him to co-erce or force other Methuselahs into : other courses of action. Otherwise the card would have been : explicit in stating the consequences of giving a false answer, or : behaving contrary to an answer. : Anyway, the question as it stands is too vague. Technically, to : obey the question, the Methuselah himself should cut his wrists and : bleed to death! He need not touch his pool or his vampires, so he ought : to have a good 15 minutes of playing time before he passes out. : Above all I can't understand why so much effort is spent trying to : utterly destabilize the game. What are you playing the game for? : ***Guy*** -- If you meant me, I'm not trying to destabilize the game. I want cards that aren't destabilizing. Monocle and Fame are annoying, and should be changed; I would like to see everything else remain the same. Especially Blood Dolls [ quoted text not captured ]

Scott I read this differently. Firstly, the basic Freak Drive card says "Only usable immediately after this vampire performs a successful action." That means that the action has been completed, and this card (a modifier to that first action) untaps the vampire, and leaves it ready to perform a new action. Similarly, that action can be modified with a Freak Drive as can each, separate subsequent action. I don't understand the piece about untapping once after each action. You only need to untap once after any action. A vampire is left tapped after it completes an action. If it plays a card such as Freak Drive to untap during that turn, that leaves it ready to begin a new action - the prior action is over and done with, and similarly the new action could also be modified to leave a vampire untapped at the end of it. Where has it ever been said that a vampire can only untap once in a turn? Separate actions must be treated independently. Interested in your reply, ***Guy***

G...@hceltd.demon.co.uk (Guy Keen) writes: [ quoted text not captured ] >Interested in your reply, -???- That's what I said. You can only untap once after each action using Freak Drive. You can't untap an untapped vampire, and you couldn't play another Freak Drive on the same action even if you could untap twice. Once you take another action, however, you may untap after it with another freak drive if you have one.

Sorry to have started so much trouble with my post, but I was misunderstanding the action of Freak Drive. From the discriptions given, it sounded as if the cards were being used on the same action again and again. (I only just recently traded for my first F. Drive so did not have it to read.)
