(D) actions directed at Etienne cost 1 additional blood. When you perform a D action that targets minions you control, it becomes an Undirected action. I know that. I know that you wouldn't pay an extra blood to rescue him from torpor with one of your own minions, but what about a cross-table rescue action? If this costs one additional blood, can the extra one blood be paid by Etienne, or does it have to come off of the acting minion?

[ quoted text not captured ] The cost of a rescue action can be split any way the Methuselah chooses (and therefore the acting vampire's controller could choose to have Etienne pay all three blood) -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. This reminds me of a situation that came up the other night. I'm pretty much sure of the answer, but just wanted to confirm. This ability means that allies can't take (D) actions directed at Etienne Fauberge at all, right? Josh you call that a war ghoul? i call it dirt!

Unless they can somehow take the action as a vampire. (Herald of Topeth can Mind Numb Etienne as an action that costs 2 blood=life, for example). [ quoted text not captured ]
